毕节医学高等专科学校是经国家教育部批准设立的公办全日制普通高等专科学校，分两大校区办学：主校区位于毕节市高新区双山职教城文馨大道1号，占地507亩，建筑面积15万平方米，二期拟建10万平方米；东校区位于大方县奢香古镇，占地120亩，建筑面积4.3万平方米。学校设立临床医学类、护理类、药学类、医技类、健康促进类五大专业群，开设23个专业，现有教职工438人，专兼职教师600余人，其中双师型教师320人，具有硕士、博士学位教师119人。教学设施先进，拥有22个实验实训基地、300间实验室，实验实训设备仪器9966台（套），总值达10458万元，各专业实训课开课率100%，并拥有两所附属医院及110个校外实训基地，是贵州省养老服务人才培养示范基地。

Bijie Medical College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education of China. It has two campuses: the main campus is located at No. 1 Wenxin Avenue, Shuangshan Vocational Education City, Bijie High-tech Zone, covering an area of 507 mu with a construction area of 150,000 square meters, and the second phase is planned to build 100,000 square meters; the East Campus is located in Shexiang Ancient Town, Dafang County, covering an area of 120 mu with a construction area of 43,000 square meters. The college has five major professional groups: Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Technology, and Health Promotion, offering 23 majors. It currently has 438 faculty members and more than 600 full-time and part-time teachers, including 320 dual-qualified teachers and 119 teachers with master's or doctoral degrees. Equipped with advanced teaching facilities, it has 22 experimental training bases, 300 laboratories, 9,966 sets of experimental training equipment with a total value of 104.58 million yuan, and the opening rate of practical training courses for all majors reaches 100%. It also has two affiliated hospitals and 110 off-campus training bases, and is a demonstration base for elderly care service talent training in Guizhou Province.

学校秉持“立德树人、教学为主、学生至上”的办学理念，以社会需求为导向，重点发展医学相关专业，形成了鲜明的医学职业教育特色。近年来面向全国8个省（市、区）招生，2024年专科招生计划1596人，涵盖中医学、针灸推拿、护理、临床医学等21个专业。学校注重学生实践能力培养，拥有省级以上实训基地7个，通过“岗课赛证”综合育人模式，为基层医疗卫生机构培养了大批实用型医学人才，先后荣获黄炎培职业教育杰出教师奖等荣誉，教师团队中涌现出市管专家2人、市级拔尖人才3人。

Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "Establishing Morality, Prioritizing Teaching, and Student-Oriented", the college focuses on developing medical-related majors oriented by social needs, forming distinct characteristics of medical vocational education. In recent years, it has enrolled students from 8 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) across the country, with a junior college enrollment plan of 1,596 people in 2024, covering 21 majors such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Tuina, Nursing, and Clinical Medicine. The college attaches importance to cultivating students' practical abilities, with 7 provincial-level and above training bases. Through the integrated education model of "post-course-competition-certificate", it has cultivated a large number of practical medical talents for primary medical and health institutions. It has successively won honors such as the Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Outstanding Teacher Award, and its teaching team has 2 municipal management experts and 3 municipal top-notch talents.
