毕节职业技术学院是经贵州省人民政府批准成立的全日制公办普通高等职业技术学院，办学历史可追溯至1956年创办的毕节市农业学校。2008年2月正式组建，2015年加挂毕节市第一技工学校牌子，实行“一套班子、三块牌子”管理体制，形成以高职教育为主体，中职教育、成人继续教育和职业技能培训与鉴定为两翼的办学格局。学校是贵州省首批省级“双高计划”建设单位，现有2个省级高水平专业群（农产品加工与质量检测、建筑工程技术）、1个省级特色骨干专业群（电子商务），构建了覆盖现代农业、智能制造、信息技术、文化旅游等领域的7个重点专业集群。

Bijie Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government, with its educational history tracing back to Bijie Agricultural School founded in 1956. Officially established in February 2008, it added the brand of "Bijie No.1 Technical School" in 2015, implementing a management system of "one leadership team with three brand names". The college forms an educational structure with higher vocational education as the main body, supplemented by secondary vocational education, adult continuing education, and vocational skills training and appraisal. As one of the first batch of provincial "Double High Plan" construction units in Guizhou, it has 2 provincial high-level professional groups (Agricultural Product Processing and Quality Inspection, Construction Engineering Technology), 1 provincial characteristic backbone professional group (E-commerce), and has built 7 key professional clusters covering modern agriculture, intelligent manufacturing, information technology, cultural tourism and other fields.

学校位于贵州省毕节市金海湖新区职教城，总占地面积740亩，建筑面积28.6万平方米，设有7个二级院系、3个教学部，开设高职专业30余个，全日制在校生1.1万余人。现有专任教师580余人，其中教授10人、副教授110人，双师型教师225人。近年来深化东西部协作，与广州18家头部企业联办52个订单班，毕业生就业率达100%，80%为家庭困难学生，226人入职大中型国企。先后荣获“全省脱贫攻坚先进党组织”“全省民族团结进步示范区示范学校”等称号，其“穗毕模式”职教扶贫成果获2022年职业教育国家级教学成果二等奖。

Located in the Vocational Education City of Jinhaihu New District, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, the college covers a total area of 740 mu with a building area of 286,000 square meters. It has 7 secondary departments, 3 teaching departments, offering over 30 higher vocational majors, with more than 11,000 full-time students. There are over 580 full-time teachers, including 10 professors, 110 associate professors, and 225 "double-qualified" teachers. In recent years, it has deepened east-west cooperation, jointly running 52 order classes with 18 leading enterprises in Guangzhou. The employment rate of graduates reaches 100%, 80% of whom are from families with financial difficulties, and 226 have joined large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises. The college has successively won titles such as "Advanced Party Organization in Provincial Poverty Alleviation" and "Demonstration School of Provincial Ethnic Unity and Progress Demonstration Zone", and its "Suibi Model" vocational education poverty alleviation achievement won the second prize of the 2022 National Teaching Achievement Award in Vocational Education.
