北京农业职业学院是经北京市人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的全日制公立普通高等学校，溯源于1958年建校的北京市农业学校，2001年由北京市农业学校和北京市农业管理干部学院合并组建。学校总占地81.22公顷，建筑面积30.34万平米，固定资产10.66亿元，拥有长阳、香山、清河、北苑四个校区，下设9个系部及机电工程学院、国际教育学院等教学单位，面向全国13个省（自治区）招生，全日制在校生及北京市农业广播电视学校学生近8000人。

Beijing Vocational College of Agriculture is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Its origins can be traced back to the Beijing Agricultural School founded in 1958. In 2001, it was established by merging the Beijing Agricultural School and the Beijing Agricultural Management Cadre College. The college covers a total area of 81.22 hectares with a building area of 303,400 square meters and fixed assets of 1.066 billion yuan. It has four campuses: Changyang, Xiangshan, Qinghe, and Beiyuan, with 9 teaching departments, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering College, International Education College and other teaching units. It enrolls students from 13 provinces (autonomous regions) across the country, with nearly 8,000 full-time students and students from Beijing Agricultural Radio and Television School.

学校以服务乡村振兴战略和都市现代农业发展为核心，开设36个高职专业，其中涉农专业14个，形成园艺技术、动物医学、食品安全等7个特色专业集群，拥有国家级高水平专业群1个、北京市特色骨干专业群5个。校内建有31个综合性实训基地和164个实验（训）室，校外校企合作基地384个，“校中有场、场中有园”的实践教学体系为高素质技能型人才培养提供坚实保障，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上，是国家示范性高等职业院校、全国乡村振兴人才培养优质校。

Focusing on serving the rural revitalization strategy and urban modern agricultural development, the college offers 36 higher vocational majors, including 14 agriculture-related majors, forming 7 characteristic professional clusters such as horticultural technology, veterinary medicine, and food safety. It has 1 national-level high-level professional group and 5 Beijing municipal characteristic backbone professional groups. The college has built 31 comprehensive training bases and 164 experimental (training) rooms on campus, and 384 off-campus school-enterprise cooperation bases. The practical teaching system of "campus within a farm, farm within a campus" provides a solid guarantee for the cultivation of high-quality skilled talents. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for many years. It is a national model higher vocational college and a national high-quality school for rural revitalization talent training.
