北京卫生职业学院是2012年经北京市人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的一所公办全日制普通高等学校，以培养专科层次高等卫生职业技术人才为主，现隶属于北京市卫生健康委员会，教育业务上受北京市教育委员会指导。学校在原北京卫生学校、原北京护士学校、原北京市中医学校的基础上合并组建，办学历史可追溯到二十世纪二十年代（1929年）。

Beijing Health Vocational College is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2012. It mainly cultivates higher-level technical talents in health vocational education at the junior college level. Currently, it is affiliated with the Beijing Municipal Health Commission and its educational operations are guided by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission. The college was established through the merger of the former Beijing Health School, the former Beijing Nurses School, and the former Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine School, with its educational history dating back to the 1920s (1929).

学校现有28个内设机构，教学单位设有护理系、药学系、医学技术系、中药与康复系、文化基础部、思想政治教学部与基础医学部等四系三部。拥有13所临床教学医院及多家教学基地、实习基地，与近百家医疗卫生机构、医药企业等开展校企合作，形成院校三段融合式人才培养模式。目前一校三址办学，设置13个专业，其中护理、药学专业为全国职业院校健康服务类首批示范专业、教育部创新发展行动计划骨干专业，药学、护理专业为北京市特色高水平骨干专业。

The college has 28 internal institutions, with teaching units including four departments and three divisions: the Department of Nursing, Department of Pharmacy, Department of Medical Technology, Department of Chinese Medicine and Rehabilitation, Department of Cultural Foundations, Department of Ideological and Political Education, and Department of Basic Medicine. It has 13 clinical teaching hospitals, multiple teaching bases, and internship bases, and has carried out school-enterprise cooperation with nearly 100 medical and health institutions, pharmaceutical enterprises, etc., forming a three-stage integrated talent training model. Currently operating across three campuses, it offers 13 majors, among which Nursing and Pharmacy are the first batch of national demonstration majors in health services for vocational colleges and key majors under the Ministry of Education's Innovation and Development Action Plan. Pharmacy and Nursing are also key majors of Beijing's characteristic high-level backbone disciplines.

学校教学设备设施齐全，现有在籍学生6715人，教职工601人。近年来招生录取率均为100%，学生就业率保持在98%以上，专业对口率超97%，为北京市医疗卫生行业培养了十万余名卫生专业人才，护理人才占北京地区该类技术人才培养量的60%以上。护理专业毕业生陈征、王克荣分别获得第40届和第44届南丁格尔奖章，学校相继荣获北京市思想政治工作优秀单位、首都文明单位标兵等多项荣誉称号。

The college is well-equipped with teaching facilities, with 6,715 enrolled students and 601 faculty members. In recent years, the admission rate has been 100%, the employment rate of students has remained above 98%, and the professional counterpart rate has exceeded 97%. It has trained over 100,000 health professionals for Beijing's medical and health industry, with nursing talents accounting for more than 60% of such technical talent training in Beijing. Nursing graduates Chen Zheng and Wang Kerong won the 40th and 44th Nightingale Medals respectively. The college has successively been awarded many honors such as Beijing Excellent Unit for Ideological and Political Work and Capital Civilized Unit Model.
