重庆农业职业学院是2025年获批成立的全日制公办普通高等职业院校，由重庆市人民政府举办，市农业农村委员会主管，市教委进行业务指导。学院坐落于重庆市永川区，立足现代农业特色，紧密对接成渝地区双城经济圈建设与乡村振兴战略需求，秉持以农为本、立德树人、德技并修理念，致力于打造具有重庆辨识度、服务成渝、面向西部、辐射全国的现代农业高职院校，为现代化新重庆全面推进乡村振兴提供坚实人才支撑。

Chongqing Vocational College of Agriculture is a full-time public higher vocational college approved for establishment in 2025. It is sponsored by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, administered by the Municipal Agricultural and Rural Committee, and under the professional guidance of the Municipal Education Commission. Located in Yongchuan District, Chongqing, the college focuses on modern agricultural characteristics, closely aligns with the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle and the needs of rural revitalization strategy. Adhering to the philosophy of agriculture-oriented, moral education, and integration of morality and skills, it is committed to building a modern agricultural vocational college with Chongqing characteristics, serving Chengdu-Chongqing, facing the western region, and radiating the whole country, so as to provide solid talent support for the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization in modern new Chongqing.

学院围绕现代农业全产业链需求设置专业，首期开设现代农业技术、现代农业装备应用技术、休闲农业经营与管理、现代农业经济管理、畜牧兽医等5个专业，逐步打造现代农业、畜牧兽医、园林园艺、现代农业装备、食品工程、农业经济管理等六大专业群。其建校基础整合了始建于1917年、积累丰富农业专业教学经验的重庆市农业学校，以及在农机教育领域贡献突出的重庆农业机械化学校等相关资源。

The college sets up majors around the needs of the entire modern agricultural industry chain. Initially, it offers 5 majors including Modern Agricultural Technology, Modern Agricultural Equipment Application Technology, Leisure Agriculture Operation and Management, Modern Agricultural Economic Management, and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, and gradually builds six major groups including modern agriculture, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, garden horticulture, modern agricultural equipment, food engineering, and agricultural economic management. Its founding basis integrates relevant resources such as Chongqing Agricultural School, which was founded in 1917 and has accumulated rich experience in agricultural professional teaching, and Chongqing Agricultural Mechanization School, which has made outstanding contributions in the field of agricultural machinery education.
