长江艺术工程职业学院是经湖北省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制民办高职院校，由湖北十八匠文化发展投资有限公司举办，现有在校生15000余人。作为湖北省唯一以非遗传承保护为特色的高职院校，学校以创意型传习大学为定位，形成“职业教育+非遗传承+产业开发”三位一体办学模式。

Changjiang Art Engineering Vocational College is a full-time private higher vocational college approved by the Hubei Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is sponsored by Hubei Shiba Jiang Culture Development Investment Co., Ltd. and currently has more than 15,000 students. As the only higher vocational college in Hubei Province featuring intangible cultural heritage inheritance and protection, the school is positioned as a creative inheritance university, forming a trinity school-running model of "vocational education + intangible cultural heritage inheritance + industrial development".

学校设立艺术工程类、互联网+物联网类、智能制造类、现代金融与服务类、康养服务类5大专业群，开设40个专业。构建“公共选修+必修+专业核心+拓展”四模块课程体系，实施“教学名师+传承大师+文创技师”三师融合师资战略，专任教师822人中双师型、副高级以上占比40%，拥有国家级非遗传承人20名，建有国家及省级大师工作室3个。

The school has set up 5 major professional groups, including art engineering, Internet + Internet of Things, intelligent manufacturing, modern finance and service, and health care service, with 40 majors. It has constructed a four-module curriculum system of "public elective + compulsory + professional core + expansion", and implemented the teacher integration strategy of "famous teaching teachers + inheritance masters + cultural and creative technicians". Among the 822 full-time teachers, 40% are double-qualified and associate senior or above, with 20 national intangible cultural heritage inheritors and 3 national and provincial master studios.

学校首创“工匠小镇”课堂育人模式，获国家教学成果二等奖1项、省级二等奖1项；牵头制定《漆艺师》《保健艾灸师》国家职业标准；获批湖北省首批本科高职联合培养试点单位；建成国家级非遗生产性保护示范基地，设全国唯一高校驻地国家级传统工艺工作站；毕业生就业率连续保持93%以上。

The school pioneered the "Craftsman Town" classroom education model, winning 1 second prize of national teaching achievements and 1 second prize at the provincial level. It took the lead in formulating the national vocational standards for "Lacquer Artists" and "Health Moxibustionists", and was approved as the first batch of undergraduate and higher vocational joint training pilot units in Hubei Province. It has built a national-level intangible cultural heritage productive protection demonstration base and set up the only national-level traditional craft workstation stationed in colleges and universities in China. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 93% for consecutive years.

学校构建“院+馆+站+中心+坊”五位一体平台，建有楚式漆器髹饰等20个非遗工坊。发起成立中国非遗保护协会漆艺分会，与清华大学等12所高校共建传统工艺工作站。与美、韩等5国高校建立合作关系，开展中韩“3+1”学历教育，参与制定越南、乍得国家职业标准，举办“荆楚问漆”国际论坛，与日韩等10余国开展学术交流。

The school has built a five-in-one platform of "college + museum + station + center + workshop", with 20 intangible cultural heritage workshops such as Chu-style lacquerware painting. It initiated the establishment of the Lacquer Art Branch of China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association, and jointly built traditional craft workstations with 12 universities including Tsinghua University. It has established cooperative relations with universities in 5 countries including the United States and South Korea, carried out Sino-Korean "3+1" academic education, participated in the formulation of national vocational standards in Vietnam and Chad, held the "Jingchu Asking Lacquer" international forum, and carried out academic exchanges with more than 10 countries such as Japan and South Korea.
