中国人民警察大学是公安部直属的全日制普通高等院校，始建于1981年4月，前身为中国人民武装警察部队学院。2018年经教育部批准转制更名为中国人民警察大学，加挂公安部国际执法合作学院、中国维和警察培训中心牌子，注册地为北京市门头沟区，办学地点位于河北省廊坊市和广东省广州市，占地面积1526亩。

China People's Police University is a full-time ordinary institution of higher education directly under the Ministry of Public Security. Founded in April 1981, its predecessor was the Chinese People's Armed Police Force Academy. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 2018, it was renamed China People's Police University, with the plates of International Law Enforcement Cooperation College of the Ministry of Public Security and China Peacekeeping Police Training Center added. Registered in Mentougou District, Beijing, it has campuses in Langfang City, Hebei Province and Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, covering an area of 1526 mu.

学校以"中国特色、世界一流、立德树人、服务实战"为办学理念，构建了涵盖法学、安全科学与工程、公安学等7个一级硕士点和3个专业学位授权点的学科体系，开设移民管理、数据警务技术等19个本科专业，其中5个为国内首创。拥有消防与应急救援国家工程研究中心等16个省部级以上科研平台，承担维和警察培训、国际执法合作等重要任务。

Adhering to the educational philosophy of "Chinese characteristics, world-class, moral education, and service to practice", the university has established a disciplinary system covering 7 first-level master's programs including law, safety science and engineering, and public security science, as well as 3 professional degree authorization points. It offers 19 undergraduate majors such as immigration management and data policing technology, 5 of which are the first of their kind in China. It has 16 provincial-level and above scientific research platforms including the National Engineering Research Center for Fire Protection and Emergency Rescue, and undertakes important tasks such as peacekeeping police training and international law enforcement cooperation.

学校现有教职员工1400余人，建有室内射击馆、维和模拟训练街区等高水平教学设施，形成了"教学研练战"一体化人才培养模式，为公安队伍和国家移民管理等领域培养了大批高素质专业人才，是新型警务人才培养和国际执法合作交流的重要基地。

The university has more than 1,400 faculty and staff, and has high-level teaching facilities such as indoor shooting ranges and peacekeeping simulation training blocks. It has formed an integrated talent training model of "teaching, research, training and combat", cultivating a large number of high-quality professionals for the public security队伍 and national immigration management fields, and serving as an important base for new-type police talent training and international law enforcement cooperation and exchanges.
