重庆城市科技学院是一所经教育部批准设立的全日制普通本科高等学校，始建于2005年，前身为重庆大学城市科技学院，2020年12月正式转设为独立设置的民办本科院校。学校现有永川和巴南两个校区，分别位于重庆市永川区茶山竹海之麓和巴南区高职城，校园依山傍水、环境秀美，荣获“重庆市园林式单位”称号，是读书治学的理想场所。

Chongqing Metropolitan College of Science and Technology is a full-time ordinary undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education. Founded in 2005 as the City College of Science and Technology of Chongqing University, it was officially transformed into an independent private undergraduate university in December 2020. The university has two campuses in Yongchuan and Banan districts of Chongqing, located at the foot of Chashan Bamboo Sea in Yongchuan and Banan Higher Vocational Education Park respectively. With a beautiful mountain-and-water surrounding, it has been awarded the title of "Chongqing Garden-style Unit" and is an ideal place for studying and academic pursuit.

学校以工学、管理学为主，工、管、经、文、法、艺、教等多学科协调发展，设有建筑与土木工程学院、经济管理学院等9个二级学院，开设53个本科专业，其中重庆市一流专业建设点4个（土木工程、工程造价、电气工程及其自动化、软件工程），市级特色专业5个。现有在校生4万余人，专任教师1489人，具有副高级及以上职称教师占比30.15%。教育教学设施完备，建有120余个专业实验室和8个工程实训中心，图书馆文献资源丰富，为应用型人才培养提供坚实保障。

Focusing on engineering and management disciplines with coordinated development of engineering, management, economics, literature, law, art, education and other fields, the university has 9 secondary colleges including the College of Architecture and Civil Engineering and the College of Economics and Management, offering 53 undergraduate programs. Among them, there are 4 Chongqing first-class professional construction sites (Civil Engineering, Engineering Cost, Electrical Engineering and Automation, Software Engineering) and 5 municipal characteristic majors. The university has over 40,000 students and 1,489 full-time teachers, with 30.15% of teachers holding associate senior titles or above. It boasts complete educational and teaching facilities, including more than 120 professional laboratories and 8 engineering training centers, as well as a library with rich literature resources, providing solid support for the cultivation of applied talents.

学校秉持“厚德、博学、求是、创新”校训，先后荣获“重庆市民办教育先进单位”“重庆市智慧校园建设示范校”等称号，2013年以来连续多年位居全国同类院校报考热度前列，2022年获评“全国119消防先进集体”。建校以来累计培养毕业生6万余人，为区域经济社会发展输送了大批高素质应用型人才。
