重庆工程学院是经教育部批准设立的一所以工学为主，以计算机、软件、电子信息为特色，经济管理和人文艺术等学科专业协调发展的全日制普通本科高校。学校始建于2001年，前身为重庆正大软件专修学院，2014年升格为本科院校并更名为重庆工程学院。学校坚持“校企合作、产教融合”办学模式，致力于培养具有社会责任感、创新精神和实践能力的高素质应用型人才。

Chongqing Institute of Engineering is a full-time ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education, focusing on engineering, with computer science, software, and electronic information as its features, and coordinated development of disciplines such as economics, management, humanities and arts. Founded in 2001, the university was formerly known as Chongqing Zhengda Software College and was upgraded to an undergraduate institution and renamed Chongqing Institute of Engineering in 2014. It adheres to the school-running mode of "school-enterprise cooperation and integration of production and education" and is committed to cultivating high-quality applied talents with a sense of social responsibility, innovative spirit and practical ability.

学校地处中国直辖市重庆，设有南泉和双桥两个校区，校园占地815.7亩，校舍建筑面积37.74万平方米。现设有计算机与物联网学院、软件学院、大数据与人工智能学院等多个二级学院，开设25个本科专业，涵盖工学、管理学、艺术学、文学等学科门类，现有全日制本科学生16000余人。学校拥有一支结构合理、素质优良的师资队伍，其中副高级以上职称教师占比33%，并拥有享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家、全国模范教师等一批优秀教师。

Located in Chongqing, a municipality directly under the Central Government of China, the university has two campuses: Nanquan and Shuangqiao, covering an area of 815.7 mu with a building area of 377,400 square meters. It now has several secondary colleges such as the School of Computer and Internet of Things, School of Software, School of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, offering 25 undergraduate majors covering engineering, management, art, literature and other disciplines, with more than 16,000 full-time undergraduate students. The university has a well-structured and high-quality teaching staff, with 33% of teachers having associate senior titles or above, and a group of excellent teachers including experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council and national model teachers.
