重庆工业职业技术大学是一所位于中国重庆市的公办全日制普通高等职业院校，是国家示范性高等职业院校、中国特色高水平高职学校和专业建设计划建设单位。学校溯源于1956年成立的重庆机器制造学校，历经多次发展与更名，2019年升格为职业本科学校并更现名。

Chongqing Industry Polytechnic University is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college located in Chongqing, China. It is a national demonstration higher vocational college and a construction unit of the "Double High-Level" Plan for vocational schools with Chinese characteristics. The school traces its origin to Chongqing Machine Manufacturing School founded in 1956, and after several developments and name changes, it was upgraded to a vocational undergraduate school and renamed to its current name in 2019.

学校以工科为主，覆盖装备制造、汽车工程、电子信息、财经商贸等多个领域，开设了机械设计制造及其自动化、汽车服务工程技术、软件工程技术等本科专业，以及数十个专科专业。现有全日制在校生2万余人，教职工千余人，其中高级职称教师占比超过30%。

The university focuses on engineering, covering multiple fields such as equipment manufacturing, automotive engineering, electronic information, finance and commerce. It offers undergraduate programs including Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation, Automotive Service Engineering Technology, Software Engineering Technology, as well as dozens of junior college programs. Currently, it has over 20,000 full-time students and more than 1,000 faculty members, with senior professional title teachers accounting for over 30%.
