重庆中医药学院是由重庆市人民政府举办、重庆市教育委员会主管，以重庆医科大学中医药学院为办学基础，整合重庆市中医院、重庆市中药研究院、重庆市药物种植研究所等优质中医药资源组建的公办全日制普通本科高等学校。学校坚守“明德济世、精术泽人”的校训精神，秉持“中医中药并重、教研医产相融”的办学理念，致力于培养高素质中医药人才。

Chongqing University of Chinese Medicine is a public full-time ordinary undergraduate university sponsored by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and administered by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. It is established on the basis of the College of Chinese Medicine of Chongqing Medical University, integrating high-quality Chinese medicine resources such as Chongqing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chongqing Academy of Chinese Materia Medica, and Chongqing Institute of Medicinal Plant Cultivation. Adhering to the school motto of "Virtue for Salvation, Excellence for Benefiting People" and the educational philosophy of "Equal Importance to Chinese Medicine and Materia Medica, Integration of Teaching, Research, Medical Practice and Industry", the university is committed to cultivating high-quality Chinese medicine talents.

学校坐落于重庆市璧山区璧城街道国学路61号，总占地面积1686.47亩，教学条件优良，馆藏图书丰富。师资力量雄厚，拥有全国名中医、国家青年岐黄学者、享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家等一批国家级人才，开设有中医学、中西医临床医学、针灸推拿学等12个本科专业，致力于建设特色鲜明、优势突出的高水平中医药高等院校。

Located at No. 61, Guoxue Road, Bicheng Street, Bishan District, Chongqing, the university covers a total area of 1,686.47 mu, with excellent teaching conditions and rich collection of books. It boasts a strong faculty, including a group of national-level talents such as National Famous Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctors, National Young Qihuang Scholars, and experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council. The university offers 12 undergraduate majors including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Clinical Medicine, and Acupuncture and Tuina, striving to build a high-level university of Chinese medicine with distinctive characteristics and outstanding advantages.
