重庆五一职业技术学院是经重庆市人民政府批准、教育部备案，由重庆市人力资源和社会保障局主管，教育教学管理接受市教委指导的公办全日制普通高等职业院校。学校始建于1951年，位于重庆市巴南区渝南大道1001号，占地600余亩，建筑面积近16万平方米，现有各类实训场地106个，仪器设备总值1.3亿元，馆藏图书37.2万册。

Chongqing Wuyi Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, registered with the Ministry of Education, administered by the Chongqing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and under the educational guidance of the Municipal Education Commission. Founded in 1951, the college is located at No. 1001, Yunan Avenue, Banan District, Chongqing, covering an area of more than 600 mu with a building area of nearly 160,000 square meters. It has 106 various training venues, with total value of instruments and equipment reaching 130 million yuan and a collection of 372,000 books.

学校面向全国招生，现有全日制在校生8000人，年社会培训1.8万人次。先后获得全国职业教育先进单位、全国教育系统先进集体、黄炎培职业教育优秀学校等荣誉，承建世界技能大赛美发、汽车技术、管道与制暖项目中国集训基地，培养的选手在世界技能大赛上累计获得5金5银4优胜。

The college enrolls students nationwide, with 8,000 full-time students and an annual social training of 18,000 person-times. It has successively won honors such as National Advanced Unit in Vocational Education, National Advanced Collective in Education System, and Outstanding School of Huang Yanpei Vocational Education. It has undertaken the Chinese training bases for Hairdressing, Automobile Technology, and Plumbing and Heating projects of the World Skills Competition, and the trained contestants have won 5 golds, 5 silvers and 4 merits in the World Skills Competition.
