天津工艺美术职业学院是经天津市政府批准、国家教育部备案的公办艺术类美术高职学院，是天津市唯一一所专门培养艺术设计人才的美术类高职学院。学院前身为1959年创建的天津工艺美术学院，历经多次调整与发展，于2004年12月正式建立。学院主校区位于天津市河北区革新道10号，分校区位于河北区建昌道41号，占地9.42万平方米，图书馆藏书12万余册，为学生提供了良好的学习环境。

Tianjin Vocational College of Arts and Crafts is a public art vocational college approved by the Tianjin Municipal Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is the only art vocational college in Tianjin specializing in cultivating art design talents. The college's predecessor was Tianjin Academy of Arts and Crafts founded in 1959. After several adjustments and developments, it was officially established in December 2004. The main campus is located at No. 10, Gexin Road, Hebei District, Tianjin, and the branch campus is at No. 41, Jianchang Road, Hebei District, covering an area of 94,200 square meters with a library collection of over 120,000 books, providing a good learning environment for students.

学院师资力量雄厚，教授、副教授、讲师等高中级职称教师占比达80%，形成了以知名专家、教授为学科带头人的高素质教师队伍。学院开设视觉传达设计、广告艺术设计、环境艺术设计、产品艺术设计、服装与服饰设计等16个艺术专业，面向全国招生，学制三年。近年来，学院筹资1500万元建成先进的数字媒体中心，启动优质特色专业建设项目，硬件条件持续提升，致力于培养学生的创意思维与设计能力，已成为培养现代工艺美术设计人才的重要基地。

The college has a strong teaching staff, with 80% of teachers holding senior or intermediate titles such as professors, associate professors and lecturers, forming a high-quality teaching team led by renowned experts and professors. It offers 16 art majors including Visual Communication Design, Advertising Art Design, Environmental Art Design, Product Art Design, and Clothing and Apparel Design, enrolling students nationwide with a three-year academic system. In recent years, the college has invested 15 million yuan to build an advanced digital media center and launched high-quality characteristic major construction projects, continuously improving hardware conditions. It is committed to cultivating students' creative thinking and design ability, and has become an important base for training modern arts and crafts design talents.
