三峡大学科技学院是经教育部备案、湖北省教育厅批准，由三峡大学与宜昌教育实业开发总公司合作举办的独立学院，具有独立事业法人地位。其前身是2000年9月成立的三峡大学宜昌分校，2002年8月更名为三峡大学科技学院，2004年2月经教育部批准重新确认为实施高等学历教育的高校独立学院。学院位于湖北省宜昌市，与三峡大学共享校园资源，校园占地面积825亩，学科覆盖工、文、管、经、法、医、艺等7个门类，开设有39个本科专业和11个专科专业，拥有电气工程及其自动化、水利水电工程等省级一流本科专业，在校生综合满意度达4.0分，环境满意度4.3分，在2025年金平果本科院校竞争力排名中位列全国第778名。

College of Science and Technology of China Three Gorges University is an independent college approved by the Ministry of Education and Hubei Provincial Department of Education, co-founded by China Three Gorges University and Yichang Education Industry Development Corporation, with independent legal person status. Its predecessor was Yichang Branch of China Three Gorges University established in September 2000, renamed as College of Science and Technology of China Three Gorges University in August 2002, and reconfirmed as an independent college for higher education by the Ministry of Education in February 2004. Located in Yichang City, Hubei Province, the college shares campus resources with China Three Gorges University, covering an area of 825 mu. It offers 39 undergraduate programs and 11 junior college programs across 7 disciplines including engineering, liberal arts, management, economics, law, medicine, and art. It has provincial first-class undergraduate programs such as Electrical Engineering and Automation, Hydraulic and Hydropower Engineering, with an overall student satisfaction rate of 4.0 points, environmental satisfaction of 4.3 points, and ranked 778th in the 2025 Golden Apple Undergraduate College Competitiveness Ranking nationwide.

学院现有教职工593人，其中专任教师488人（共享三峡大学教师263人），外聘教师239人；专任教师中具有硕士以上学位的比例达83%，高级职称占比57.79%。学院注重应用型人才培养，与地方企业紧密开展产学研合作，开设金融学、机械设计制造及其自动化、计算机科学与技术、护理学等特色专业，其中旅游英语、法学、发电厂及电力系统等专业满意度达4.5分，形成了以工科为特色、多学科协调发展的办学格局，是湖北省内具有较高认可度的民办全日制本科院校，在2025年湖北省综合类民办大学排名中位列第8名。

The college currently has 593 faculty members, including 488 full-time teachers (263 shared with China Three Gorges University) and 239 external teachers. Among full-time teachers, 83% hold master's degrees or above, and 57.79% have senior professional titles. Focusing on applied talent cultivation, the college actively conducts industry-university-research cooperation with local enterprises, offering特色 majors such as Finance, Mechanical Design and Manufacturing及其 Automation, Computer Science and Technology, and Nursing. Programs like Tourism English, Law, and Power Plant and Power System have achieved a satisfaction rate of 4.5 points. With engineering as its featured discipline and multi-disciplinary coordinated development, it has become a well-recognized private full-time undergraduate institution in Hubei Province, ranking 8th in the 2025 Hubei Comprehensive Private University Ranking.
