中国青年政治学院是共青团中央直属、教育部与共青团中央共建的唯一一所重点高等院校，其前身是1948年创建的中央团校。学校以“立德树人”为根本任务，聚焦青年人才培养、青年研究和青年工作，形成了以人文社会科学为主体，以政治学、社会学、法学、经济学、管理学、教育学等学科为特色，涵盖本科、硕士、博士等多层次人才培养体系。

China Youth University of Political Studies is the only key institution of higher education directly under the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and co-constructed by the Ministry of Education and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. Its predecessor was the Central League School founded in 1948. With the fundamental task of "fostering virtue through education", the university focuses on youth talent cultivation, youth research, and youth work. It has formed a multi-level talent training system covering undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs, with humanities and social sciences as the main body and disciplines such as political science, sociology, law, economics, management, and education as its characteristics.
