东莞理工学院是广东省重点支持建设的高水平理工科大学，创建于1992年，2018年成为博士学位授予单位。学校以理工科为特色，工、理、管、文、经、法、艺等多学科协调发展，现有松山湖、莞城两个校区，全日制学生超2万人。

Dongguan University of Technology is a high-level science and engineering university supported by Guangdong Province. Founded in 1992, it became a doctoral degree-granting institution in 2018. With science and engineering as its featured disciplines, the university develops coordinately in multiple disciplines including engineering, science, management, liberal arts, economics, law, and arts. It has two campuses (Songshan Lake and Guancheng) with over 20,000 full-time students.

学校坚持“知行合一、立德树人”校训，深化产教融合、校企合作，与华为、OPPO等龙头企业共建现代产业学院，构建了“创新创业教育+学科竞赛+科研训练”三位一体人才培养体系，近五年获国家级教学成果奖3项、省级以上学科竞赛奖项超5000项。

It has established modern industrial colleges with leading enterprises such as Huawei and OPPO, and built a trinity talent training system of "innovation and entrepreneurship education + discipline competitions + scientific research training". In the past five years, it has won 3 national teaching achievement awards and over 5,000 discipline competition awards at or above the provincial level.
