大理护理职业学院是经云南省政府批准、教育部备案的全日制公办普通高等职业学院，由大理白族自治州人民政府举办，实行省、州共管，以州为主的管理体制。学校前身为始建于1953年的云南省大理卫生学校，2016年升格为高等职业学院，简称“大护职院”，国标代码14583，办学层次为普通专科，地址位于云南省大理州大理市海东新城蔚文街3号。

Dali Nursing Vocational College is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Yunnan Provincial Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Sponsored by the People's Government of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, it is jointly managed by the province and the prefecture, with the prefecture as the main administrative body. The college traces its roots to Yunnan Dali Health School founded in 1953, and was upgraded to a higher vocational college in March 2016, commonly referred to as "Dali Nursing College". Its national standard code is 14583, offering junior college-level education, and is located at No. 3 Weiwen Street, Haidong New Town, Dali City, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province.

学校校园占地面积462亩，建筑面积13.9万平方米，现有护理、助产、康复治疗技术、中医康复技术、眼视光技术等12个专业，形成以护理为特色的医药卫生专业群。全日制在校学生6000人，继续教育学生2000人；教职工近300人，实验实训设备总值4900多万元，拥有“三中心三基地”实训体系及4所附属医院、71个省内外实习基地，图书馆藏书32万册，致力于培养高素质医药卫生技术技能人才。

The college covers an area of 462 mu (about 308,000 square meters) with a building area of 139,000 square meters. It offers 12 majors including Nursing, Midwifery, Rehabilitation Therapy Technology, Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation Technology, and Optometry Technology, forming a medical and health professional cluster with nursing as its特色. It has 6,000 full-time students and 2,000 continuing education students, supported by nearly 300 faculty members. The total value of experimental and training equipment exceeds 49 million yuan. The college features a "Three Centers and Three Bases" training system, 4 affiliated hospitals, and 71 off-campus internship bases across the province and beyond. With a library collection of 320,000 books, it is committed to cultivating high-quality medical and health technical talents.
