大连理工大学城市学院成立于2003年3月，是经教育部批准设立的独立学院，办学层次为全日制本科，位于辽宁省大连市保税区广宁路1号。学校以工学为主体，涵盖管理学、文学、经济学、艺术学等多学科协调发展，开设计算机科学与技术、自动化、土木工程、风景园林、英语、工商管理等30余个本科专业，形成了以电子与自动化学院、建筑工程学院等为特色的学科布局。

City Institute, Dalian University of Technology was founded in March 2003. It is an independent college approved by the Ministry of Education, offering full-time undergraduate programs. Located at No. 1 Guangning Road, Free Trade Zone, Dalian, Liaoning Province, the university focuses on engineering while developing coordinated disciplines including management, literature, economics, and art. It offers over 30 undergraduate majors such as Computer Science and Technology, Automation, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, English, and Business Administration, forming a distinctive disciplinary layout with colleges like the School of Electronics and Automation and the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture as highlights.

The institute has 367 full-time teachers, among whom 90.2% hold postgraduate degrees and 46.3% have senior professional titles, with a student-teacher ratio of 17.1:1.
