大庆师范学院坐落于黑龙江省大庆市，始建于1965年，前身为大庆师范学校，历经大庆师范专科学校、大庆高等专科学校等发展阶段，2004年升格为本科院校，2019年划归黑龙江省政府管理。学校秉承“学高为师，身正为范”的办学传统和“质量立校，追求卓越”的办学理念，践行“自强不息，臻于至善”校训，形成以大庆精神铁人精神办学育人的特色，构建了基于“一基双新”定位的六大专业集群。

Daqing Normal University is located in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. Founded in 1965, it originated from Daqing Normal School and went through developmental stages including Daqing Normal Junior College and Daqing College. It was upgraded to a undergraduate institution in 2004 and came under the management of Heilongjiang Provincial Government in 2019. Adhering to the educational tradition of "Learned as a teacher, virtuous as a model" and the philosophy of "Quality-oriented, pursuing excellence", the university practices the motto of "Self-improvement, striving for perfection" and has formed the characteristic of running a school and educating people with the Daqing Spirit and Iron Man Spirit, constructing six major professional clusters based on the "one foundation and two innovations" positioning.

学校设有14个学院，45个本科专业，涵盖8大学科门类。拥有2个国家级一流本科专业建设点、10个省级一流本科专业建设点，5个专业通过教育部师范类专业二级认证。教职工804人，正副教授283人，博士化率25%，硕士以上学位教师占比93.79%。建有国家级科研创新平台（分中心）1个、省级以上科研平台13个，先后荣获全国大学生心理健康教育工作先进集体、省高校系统文明校园等荣誉称号。

The university has 14 colleges and 45 undergraduate majors, covering 8 disciplines. It has 2 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 10 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, and 5 majors have passed the second-level certification of normal majors by the Ministry of Education. There are 804 faculty members, including 283 professors and associate professors, with a doctoralization rate of 25%, and 93.79% of teachers have master's degrees or above. It has 1 national-level scientific research innovation platform (branch center) and 13 provincial-level or above scientific research platforms, and has successively won honors such as the National Advanced Collective for Mental Health Education of College Students and the Civilized Campus of Provincial University System.
