东营职业学院组建成立于2001年7月，是山东省人民政府批准、东营市人民政府举办的全日制高校，是国家骨干高职院校、山东省示范性高职院校、山东省优质高职院校。学校占地1598.75亩，建筑面积46万平方米，教学仪器设备总值达3.3亿元；现有全日制在校生1.9万人，成人学历教育在校生8200人；在编教职工1084人，其中硕士836名、博士78名，正副高级职称教师376名。

Dongying Vocational College was established in July 2001 with the approval of the People's Government of Shandong Province and is sponsored by the People's Government of Dongying City. It is a national backbone higher vocational college, a Shandong Provincial Demonstrative Higher Vocational College, and a Shandong Provincial High-quality Higher Vocational College. The college covers an area of 1598.75 mu with a building area of 460,000 square meters, and the total value of teaching instruments and equipment reaches 330 million yuan. It currently has 19,000 full-time students and 8,200 adult education students. There are 1,084 in-service faculty members, including 836 with master's degrees, 78 with doctoral degrees, and 376 with senior professional titles.

学校设有石油与化学工程学院、能源装备制造学院等9个二级学院和1个校企共建混合所有制航空学院，开设44个专业，面向全国20个省（自治区、直辖市）招生。成立以来累计培养专科层次毕业生9万余人，获评全国创新创业典型经验高校、全国高等职业院校服务贡献50强、教学资源50强、产教融合50强等荣誉称号。2023年山东省高职院校办学质量考核成绩跃升至全省第8名。

The college has 9 secondary colleges including the College of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering, the College of Energy Equipment Manufacturing, and 1 mixed-ownership aviation college co-founded with enterprises. It offers 44 majors and enrolls students from 20 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country. Since its establishment, it has cultivated more than 90,000 junior college graduates and has been awarded honors such as National Model Higher Vocational College for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Top 50 National Higher Vocational Colleges in Service Contribution, Top 50 in Teaching Resources, and Top 50 in Industry-Education Integration. In 2023, its performance in the Shandong Provincial Higher Vocational College Running Quality Assessment jumped to the 8th place in the province.
