德州职业技术学院是2005年经山东省人民政府批准、教育部备案、隶属于德州市人民政府的专科层次公办全日制综合性普通高等职业院校，实行“一校两牌”（德州职业技术学院与德州市技师学院），2015年“德州创新创业大学”落户学校。学校以高等职业教育为主，兼顾预备技师培养及远程教育，是全国较早推行高等职业教育与预备技师教育合作培养的高职院校，先后荣获“国家高技能人才培养示范基地”“全国毕业生就业典型经验高校”“全国创新创业典型经验高校”等60多项省级以上荣誉称号。

Dezhou Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time comprehensive higher vocational college at the junior college level approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province, registered by the Ministry of Education, and affiliated to the People's Government of Dezhou City in 2005. It operates under the "one school, two brands" system (Dezhou Vocational and Technical College and Dezhou Technician College), and in 2015, "Dezhou Innovation and Entrepreneurship University" was established at the college. The college focuses on higher vocational education, while also offering technician training and distance education. It is one of the earliest higher vocational colleges in China to promote cooperative education between higher vocational education and technician education, and has won more than 60 provincial-level and above honors such as "National Demonstration Base for High-skilled Talent Training", "National College with Typical Experience in Graduate Employment", and "National College with Typical Experience in Innovation and Entrepreneurship".

学校占地面积1190亩，建筑面积30余万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值1.54亿元，设有11个教学系部，开设高职专业45个，形成以装备制造、电子信息、财经商贸等为特色的专业群，其中国家级骨干专业2个、中央财政支持重点建设专业2个、省级特色专业4个。现有教职工829人，专任教师542人，双师素质教师比例达91.45%，各类在校生15000余人。学校深化产教融合，牵头成立德州职业教育集团（成员企业429家），建有校内实训基地26个、校外实习基地271个，近三年学生获省级以上技能大赛奖项643项，毕业生就业率连续保持在95%以上。

The college covers an area of 1190 mu with a building area of over 300,000 square meters, and the total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 154 million yuan. It has 11 teaching departments and offers 45 higher vocational majors, forming characteristic professional groups such as equipment manufacturing, electronic information, and finance and trade. Among them, there are 2 national-level key majors, 2 key construction majors supported by central finance, and 4 provincial-level characteristic majors. The college has 829 faculty members, including 542 full-time teachers, with 91.45% of them being "double-qualified" teachers, and over 15,000 students of various types. Deepening the integration of industry and education, the college leads the Dezhou Vocational Education Group (with 429 member enterprises), has 26 on-campus training bases and 271 off-campus internship bases. In the past three years, students have won 643 provincial-level and above skill competition awards, and the employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for consecutive years.
