东地中海大学（Eastern Mediterranean University, EMU）成立于1979年，位于塞浦路斯北部的法马古斯塔市，是由土耳其与北塞浦路斯政府共同支持的国际高等教育机构。学校前身为高等教育技术机构，1986年改建为州立大学，采用英美教材体系及美式学分制，教学语言以英语为主，同时提供土耳其语课程，并设有英语预备学校帮助学生提升语言能力。

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) was founded in 1979 and is located in Famagusta, northern Cyprus. It is an international higher education institution jointly supported by the Turkish and Northern Cypriot governments. Formerly a higher education technical institution, it was restructured into a state university in 1986. EMU adopts Anglo-American textbook systems and American credit systems, with English as the primary medium of instruction, supplemented by Turkish courses. It also has an English Preparatory School to help students improve their language proficiency.

The university comprises 11 faculties and 5 schools, offering 141 undergraduate and postgraduate programs spanning physical sciences, social sciences, engineering, medicine, arts, and other fields, with unique specialties such as underwater archaeology. The campus covers 2.2 million square meters with over 200,000 square meters of building space, equipped with modern libraries, computer centers, and sports facilities, providing extensive academic and extracurricular support for students.

作为国际化大学，东地中海大学吸引了来自70多个国家的学生及35个国家的教师，学术排名位居全球前列（如QS排名约611位，相当于国内中国人民大学水平）。其学历获世界广泛认可，与多国高校建立合作关系，是地中海地区重要的教育与研究中心。
