鄂州职业大学创办于1984年，是经国家教育部批准的公办全日制普通高等职业院校，位于湖北国际航空都市区——鄂州，紧邻九省通衢的武汉。学校占地面积1020余亩，全日制在校生17000余人，是国家示范性（骨干）高职院校、全国高职高专人才培养工作水平评估优秀院校、教育部首批“1+X”试点证书院校，先后荣获湖北省优质校、湖北省高校毕业生就业工作先进单位等称号。

EZhou Vocational University, founded in 1984, is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education. Located in Ezhou, the Hubei International Aviation Metropolis, it is adjacent to Wuhan, a major transportation hub in central China. Covering an area of over 1020 mu, the university has more than 17,000 full-time students. It is a National Model (Key) Higher Vocational College, an Excellent Institution in the National Higher Vocational Talent Training Evaluation, and one of the first batch of "1+X" certificate pilot institutions by the Ministry of Education. It has also been awarded titles such as Hubei Provincial Quality College and Advanced Unit for Graduate Employment in Hubei Provincial Colleges.

学校设有12个教学院（部），形成8大特色专业群、46个专科专业，其中4个国家级重点专业、7个省级重点专业，建有2个国家级职业教育实训基地、6个省级实训基地。学校坚持产教融合、校企合作，与阿里巴巴、京东等知名企业共建实训基地，毕业生就业率长期稳定在95%以上，是湖北省专本联合培养院校，为区域经济社会发展培养了大批高素质技术技能人才。
