福建农业职业技术学院是福建省教育厅主管的公立、全日制普通高等学校，是福建省唯一的农业类高等职业院校。学院肇始于1902年的福建农桑总局蚕务学堂，2003年由福州市农业学校和福建省农业学校合并设立，2015年福建省农业干部学校整建制并入。学院秉承“厚德强技，学以致用”的校训，弘扬“艰苦奋斗，自强不息，敬业奉献，和谐发展”的福农精神，践行“耕读强农，与时俱进”的办学理念，为乡村振兴和福建特色现代农业发展培养了大批“一懂两爱”的高素质技术技能人才。

Fujian Vocational College of Agriculture is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution under the supervision of the Fujian Provincial Department of Education, and the only agricultural higher vocational college in Fujian Province. The college originated from the Sericulture School of Fujian Agricultural and Mulberry General Bureau founded in 1902. It was established in 2003 by the merger of Fuzhou Agricultural School and Fujian Agricultural School, and in 2015, Fujian Agricultural Cadre School was merged into the college as a whole. Adhering to the school motto of "Virtue and Skills, Learning for Application" and carrying forward the "Funong Spirit" of "hard work, self-improvement, dedication and harmonious development", the college practices the educational philosophy of "Cultivating through Farming and Reading to Strengthen Agriculture, Keeping Pace with the Times", and has cultivated a large number of high-quality technical and skilled talents who "understand and love agriculture" for rural revitalization and the development of Fujian's characteristic modern agriculture.

学院现有相思岭、首山两个校区和软件园办学点，主校区位于福州市南郊相思岭下，校园环境优美，生态优越。全日制在校生1.5万余人，开设现代农业技术、园艺技术、畜牧兽医等40余个高职专业，形成了以农类专业为优势和特色，财经、电子、建筑等多专业协调发展的格局。学院深化产教融合，建有相思岭大学生创业园等多个实训基地，创新“341”新型职业农民培育体系和“三创教育”模式，先后荣获“全国乡村振兴人才培养优质校”“全国新型职业农民培育示范基地”等称号，入选福建省高水平职业院校和专业建设计划立项建设单位。

The college currently has two campuses, Xiangsiling and Shoushan, and a software park teaching site. The main campus is located at the foot of Xiangsiling in the southern suburbs of Fuzhou, with a beautiful campus environment and superior ecology. There are more than 15,000 full-time students, offering more than 40 higher vocational majors such as modern agricultural technology, horticultural technology, and animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, forming a pattern where agricultural majors are dominant and characteristic, and finance, electronics, architecture and other majors develop coordinately. The college deepens the integration of production and education, has built a number of training bases such as Xiangsiling College Students Entrepreneurship Park, innovates the "341" new professional farmer training system and the "three innovations education" model, and has won the titles of "National Quality School for Rural Revitalization Talent Training" and "National Demonstration Base for New Professional Farmer Training", and was selected into the Fujian Provincial High-level Vocational Colleges and Professional Construction Plan.
