广东工商职业技术大学创办于1996年，2018年经教育部批准成为全国首批职业本科院校，2019年更名为现用名，2022年获批学士学位授予单位，2023年开始招收留学生。学校位于粤港澳大湾区腹地的肇庆市，现有星湖和大旺两个校区，星湖校区毗邻七星岩国家5A级风景名胜区，大旺校区地处肇庆国家级高新技术产业开发区。

Guangdong Business and Technology University was founded in 1996. It was approved by the Ministry of Education as one of the first batch of vocational undergraduate institutions in China in 2018, renamed to its current name in 2019, accredited as a bachelor's degree-granting unit in 2022, and started enrolling international students in 2023. Located in Zhaoqing City in the hinterland of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the university has two campuses: Xinghu and Dawang. The Xinghu Campus is adjacent to the Qixingyan National 5A Scenic Area, while the Dawang Campus is situated in the Zhaoqing National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone.

学校校园占地面积2212.93亩，建筑风格中西合璧，被誉为"中国最美民办大学之一"。现有全日制在校生2.4万余人，教职工1300余人，设有18个教学单位，开设职业本科专业30个，重点布局计算机类、智能制造、数字媒体、健康管理等应用型学科，形成了以工为主、工管经文艺多学科协调发展的办学格局。

Covering an area of 2212.93 mu, the university campus features a blend of Chinese and Western architectural styles and is known as "one of the most beautiful private universities in China". It currently has over 24,000 full-time students and more than 1,300 faculty members. With 18 teaching units and 30 vocational undergraduate programs, the university focuses on applied disciplines such as computer science, intelligent manufacturing, digital media, and health management, forming a discipline structure dominated by engineering and coordinated development of engineering, management, economics, liberal arts, and art.
