广东建设职业技术学院是一所以建筑为特色，集理、工、商、贸为一体的综合性省属公办高职院校，被誉为“现代鲁班摇篮”。学校前身是1979年成立的广东省建筑工程技工学校，历经发展，于2001年升格为高职学院，2006年划转广东省教育厅管理。目前拥有广州、清远两个校区，占地面积近1000亩，全日制高职在校生21000余人，是建筑业高素质技术技能人才培养的重要基地。

Guangdong Construction Vocational and Technical College is a comprehensive public higher vocational college under the provincial government, featuring architecture and integrating science, engineering, commerce, and trade. Known as the "Cradle of Modern Luban", its predecessor was Guangdong Provincial Construction Engineering Technical School founded in 1979. It was upgraded to a vocational college in 2001 and transferred to the management of Guangdong Provincial Department of Education in 2006. Currently, it has two campuses in Guangzhou and Qingyuan, covering an area of nearly 1000 mu, with over 21,000 full-time vocational college students, serving as an important base for cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents in the construction industry.

学校秉持“立德树人、工学交融、创新发展、特色办学”的理念，以“胸怀匠心、筑梦天下”为校训，构建了以建筑类专业为核心的特色办学体系。现有8个二级学院，50个招生专业，其中国家级骨干专业5个，省级高水平专业群6个，中央财政支持建设专业2个。师资力量雄厚，专任教师1100多名，双师素质教师占比超85%，并聘请500多名行业技术人员及30多位传统建筑名匠担任兼职教授或客座教授。

Adhering to the philosophy of "Establishing Morality and Cultivating People, Integrating Work and Study, Innovating Development, and Running a School with Characteristics" and the school motto of "Cherishing the Craftsman's Spirit, Building Dreams for the World", the college has constructed a characteristic education system centered on architecture-related majors. It now has 8 secondary colleges and 50 enrollment majors, including 5 national-level key majors, 6 provincial-level high-level professional groups, and 2 majors supported by central finance. The faculty is strong, with over 1,100 full-time teachers, more than 85% of whom are double-qualified teachers. Additionally, over 500 industry technicians and more than 30 traditional architecture masters are employed as part-time professors or visiting professors.

学校注重产教融合与国际交流，是全国现代学徒制试点单位、国家级岭南建筑技术职业教育产教创新基地，与300多家企业紧密合作，共建广东省建设职业教育集团。主动服务“一带一路”建设，与巴基斯坦等国开展合作培养，获中巴教育国际合作突出贡献奖。近年来荣获国家级教学成果奖2项，省级教学成果9项，各类专利及知识产权181项，为区域经济社会发展和建设行业进步作出了积极贡献。

The college emphasizes industry-education integration and international exchanges. It is a national pilot unit for modern apprenticeship and a national-level Lingnan Architectural Technology Vocational Education Industry-Education Innovation Base. It has close cooperation with over 300 enterprises and jointly established the Guangdong Construction Vocational Education Group. Actively serving the "Belt and Road" Initiative, it carries out cooperative education with countries like Pakistan and has won the Outstanding Contribution Award for China-Pakistan Educational International Cooperation. In recent years, it has obtained 2 national teaching achievement awards, 9 provincial teaching achievement awards, and 181 various patents and intellectual property rights, making positive contributions to regional economic and social development and the progress of the construction industry.
