广东茂名健康职业学院是经广东省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制普通医药卫生类高等职业学校，创办于2015年，其前身为1960年设立的茂名市业余医科专修学校，历经茂名中医学校、茂名市卫生进修学校等发展阶段，1987年更名为茂名卫生学校。学校秉承“厚德精业，健行康民”校训，立足粤西、面向广东、辐射全国，专注培养医药卫生类高素质技术技能人才，服务基层卫生与健康事业发展。

Guangdong Maoming Health Vocational College is a full-time public higher vocational school of medical and health sciences approved by the People's Government of Guangdong Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. Founded in 2015, it evolved from Maoming Amateur Medical Training School established in 1960, undergoing transformations as Maoming Traditional Chinese Medicine School and Maoming Health Training School before being renamed Maoming Health School in 1987. Adhering to the motto "Virtue and Excellence, Health for the People", the college is rooted in western Guangdong, serving Guangdong Province and radiating nationwide, dedicated to cultivating high-quality technical talents in medical and health fields to support grassroots health and wellness initiatives.

学校占地550亩，建筑面积24.66万平方米，现有专兼职教师600余人，其中硕士以上学历占专任教师60%，教授、副教授56人，博士10人，在校生1.2万人。设有临床医学院、护理学院等6个二级学院，开设临床医学、护理、中医学等28个专业，其中国控专业4个，广东省二类品牌专业1个，省级高水平专业群2个。拥有国家级在线精品课程1门、省级在线精品课程9门，建成80余家二甲以上医院实习基地，护士资格考试通过率保持95%左右，毕业生年终就业率超95%。

Covering 550 mu (366,667 square meters) with a building area of 246,600 square meters, the college has over 600 full-time and part-time faculty members, including 60% of full-time teachers with master's degrees or above, 56 professors and associate professors, and 10 doctoral degree holders. It enrolls 12,000 students and comprises 6 secondary colleges such as the School of Clinical Medicine and School of Nursing, offering 28 programs including Clinical Medicine, Nursing, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. These include 4 nationally controlled programs, 1 provincial second-class brand program, and 2 provincial high-level professional groups. The college boasts 1 national-level online quality course, 9 provincial-level online quality courses, and over 80 internship bases in grade-II-A or higher hospitals. The passing rate of the nurse qualification exam remains around 95%, with the annual employment rate of graduates exceeding 95%.
