广东农工商职业技术学院是一所普通高等公办全日制专科院校。学校创建于1952年，前身为叶剑英元帅在兼任华南垦殖局局长期间创办的华南垦殖局机务学校，历经多次更名与发展，2000年正式定名为广东农工商职业技术学院。学校秉承“立德博学、知行合一”的校训和“艰苦奋斗、勇于开拓”的农垦精神，以强农兴农为己任，坚持“依托农垦、面向广东、辐射全国”的服务定位，围绕建设国内一流、世界水平、凸显热带农业产业特色的高水平高职院校目标，形成以农为特色、工、商两翼协调发展的办学格局。

Guangdong AIB Polytechnic College is a public full-time vocational college. Founded in 1952, its predecessor was the Machine Service School of South China Reclamation Bureau established by Marshal Ye Jianying during his tenure as director of the bureau. After several renamings and developments, it was officially named Guangdong AIB Polytechnic College in 2000. Adhering to the school motto of "Morality, Erudition, Integration of Knowledge and Practice" and the reclamation spirit of "Hard Work and Courageous Exploration", the college takes strengthening and revitalizing agriculture as its mission. It adheres to the service orientation of "relying on reclamation, facing Guangdong, and radiating the whole country", aiming to build a high-level vocational college with first-class domestic standards, world-class level, and prominent tropical agricultural industry characteristics, forming a school-running pattern with agriculture as the feature and coordinated development of industry and commerce.

学校现有粤垦和增城两个校区，设有热带农林学院、商学院等9个二级学院及3个教学单位，开设50个招生专业，其中国家级骨干专业8个、省级品牌专业17个。学校先后荣获全国乡村振兴人才培养优质校、广东省示范性高等职业院校、广东省省域高水平高等职业院校建设计划建设单位等称号，2021年高职院校创新强校考核成绩位居全省第一名，2018年荣膺《中国高等职业教育质量年度报告》服务贡献、国际影响力、教学资源等三个全国50强，在职业教育领域形成显著的办学优势与品牌影响力。

The college has two campuses: Yueken and Zengcheng, with 9 secondary colleges including the College of Tropical Agriculture and Forestry and the College of Business, as well as 3 teaching units. It offers 50 enrollment majors, including 8 national-level key majors and 17 provincial-level brand majors. The college has successively won titles such as National Excellent School for Rural Revitalization Talent Training, Guangdong Provincial Demonstrative Higher Vocational College, and Construction Unit of Guangdong Provincial High-level Higher Vocational College Construction Plan. In 2021, it ranked first in the province in the assessment of vocational college innovation and strong schools. In 2018, it was listed in the top 50 nationwide in service contribution, international influence, and teaching resources in the "China Higher Vocational Education Quality Annual Report", forming significant school-running advantages and brand influence in the field of vocational education.
