广东培正学院创办于1993年，原名私立培正商学院，是经教育部批准设立的非营利性全日制民办本科普通高等学校。2005年升格为本科院校并更名为广东培正学院，2009年获学士学位授予权，2012年通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估，2018年接受本科教学工作审核评估。学校坐落于广州市花都区赤坭镇集益湖畔，校园占地861.28亩，校舍建筑面积43.98万平方米，现有全日制在校生18451人，教职员工1234人。

Guangdong Peizheng College was founded in 1993, originally named Private Peizheng Business College. It is a non-profit full-time private undergraduate general higher education institution approved by the Ministry of Education. Upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Guangdong Peizheng College in 2005, it obtained the right to grant bachelor's degrees in 2009, passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment of the Ministry of Education in 2012, and accepted the undergraduate teaching audit assessment in 2018. Located by Jiyi Lake in Chini Town, Huadu District, Guangzhou, the campus covers an area of 861.28 mu with a building area of 439,800 square meters. It currently has 18,451 full-time students and 1,234 faculty members.

学校坚持财经类应用型本科办学定位，设有马克思主义学院、管理学院、经济学院等11个二级学院，涵盖管理、经济、文学、艺术学等8个学科，开设46个本科专业。拥有省级重点培育学科2个、省级一流专业建设点3个，形成以经济学、管理学为主体，多学科协调发展的学科专业体系。突出外语应用能力培养，常年聘有外籍教师，构建"固基、应用、拓展"特色教学模式，历年毕业生就业率保持在93%以上，获"全国民办高校先进单位""广东省五一劳动奖状"等荣誉称号。

Adhering to the orientation of finance and economics applied undergraduate education, the college has 11 secondary colleges including the School of Marxism, School of Management, and School of Economics, covering 8 disciplines such as management, economics, literature, and art, with 46 undergraduate majors. It has 2 provincial key cultivation disciplines and 3 provincial first-class professional construction sites, forming a disciplinary professional system with economics and management as the main body and multi-disciplinary coordinated development. Emphasizing the cultivation of foreign language application ability, it employs foreign teachers all year round and builds a "solid foundation, application, expansion" characteristic teaching model. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 93% over the years, and it has won honors such as "National Advanced Private College" and "Guangdong Provincial May 1st Labor Award".
