广东青年职业学院是2011年经广东省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案、在广东青年干部学院基础上改制兴办的公办普通高等学校，前身是1950年成立的华南团校，行政主管部门为共青团广东省委员会，业务主管部门为广东省教育厅，主要承担高职教育、成人教育、共青团干部培训、青年职业技能培训和青年工作理论创新职能。

Guangdong Youth Vocational College is a public ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Guangdong Province, registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China in 2011. It was restructured and established on the basis of Guangdong Youth Cadre College, with its predecessor being South China Youth League School founded in 1950. The administrative department in charge is the Communist Youth League Guangdong Provincial Committee, and the business department in charge is the Department of Education of Guangdong Province. It mainly undertakes the functions of higher vocational education, adult education, training of Communist Youth League cadres, youth vocational skills training and theoretical innovation of youth work.

学院地处广州市白云区钟落潭镇，校园占地面积500多亩，规划校舍建筑面积达32万平方米，可容纳12000名大学生和数百名培训学员。现有财经系、外语系、工商管理系等8个系部，形成财经商贸类、文化艺术类、电子信息类、教育与体育类、公共管理与服务类5大专业群，全日制专业19个，其中中央财政支持建设专业2个，省级重点建设专业1个。

The college is located in Zhongluotan Town, Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, with a campus area of more than 500 mu and a planned school building area of 320,000 square meters, which can accommodate 12,000 college students and hundreds of training students. It currently has 8 departments including the Department of Finance and Economics, the Department of Foreign Languages, and the Department of Business Administration, forming 5 major professional groups: finance and trade, culture and art, electronic information, education and sports, and public administration and services, with 19 full-time majors, including 2 majors supported by the central finance and 1 provincial key construction major.

学院强化“团青”与“创业”办学特色，秉持“奋斗的青春最美丽”校训，坚持“以人为本、以青年为本”大学精神，注重培养具有创新创业素养的高级技术技能人才，学生在全国高职高专社会工作能力与实务竞赛、蓝桥杯全国软件和信息技术专业人才大赛等赛事中屡获佳绩。

The college strengthens the school-running characteristics of "Youth League" and "Entrepreneurship", upholds the school motto of "Struggling youth is the most beautiful", adheres to the university spirit of "people-oriented and youth-oriented", and focuses on cultivating high-level technical and skilled talents with innovative and entrepreneurial literacy. Students have won many awards in national competitions such as the National Higher Vocational College Social Work Ability and Practice Competition, and the Lanqiao Cup National Software and Information Technology Professional Talent Competition.
