赣南科技学院是一所经教育部批准，由江西省人民政府管理、赣州市人民政府举办、江西理工大学支持办学的公办普通本科高校，其前身为创建于2001年的江西理工大学应用科学学院。学校位于国家历史文化名城、江西省域副中心城市、素有“江南宋城、客家摇篮、红色故都”之美誉的赣州市，坐落在章江河畔，依山傍水、宜学宜教，自然环境优美，办学设施先进。

Gannan University of Science and Technology is a public ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education, managed by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, sponsored by the People's Government of Ganzhou City, and supported by Jiangxi University of Science and Technology. Its predecessor was the College of Applied Sciences of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology founded in 2001. The university is located in Ganzhou City, a national historical and cultural city, a sub-central city in Jiangxi Province, known as "Southern Song Dynasty City, Hometown of Hakka, and Red Capital". It is situated on the bank of Zhangjiang River, with mountains and rivers nearby, suitable for learning and teaching, beautiful natural environment and advanced办学 facilities.

校园占地807.6亩，校舍建筑总面积29.1万平方米，教学科研行政用房16.2万平方米，教学仪器设备总值6257.4万元；有建成校内专业实验室118个，教学用计算机3000多台，图书馆藏书87.6万册；各个教学区域以及配套校舍布局合理、设施完善、功能齐全。学校现开设涵盖工学、经济学、管理学、文学、法学、艺术学、教育学等7大学科门类，拥有专任教师430余人，其中“双师双能型”教师占比25%以上，副高及以上专业技术资格教师160余人，硕士及以上学位教师310余人。

The campus covers an area of 807.6 mu, with a total building area of 291,000 square meters, including 162,000 square meters for teaching, scientific research and administrative use. The total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 62.574 million yuan. There are 118 on-campus professional laboratories, more than 3,000 teaching computers, and 876,000 books in the library. All teaching areas and supporting school buildings are rationally laid out, well-equipped and fully functional. The university now offers 7 disciplines including engineering, economics, management, literature, law, art, and education, with more than 430 full-time teachers, among whom "double-qualified and double-capable" teachers account for more than 25%, more than 160 teachers with associate senior titles or above, and more than 310 teachers with master's degree or above.

学生参加国际国内数学建模、互联网+创新创业、金相技能、广告艺术、电子电脑科技等各级各类赛事成绩喜人，多次与“双一流”高校同台竞技，近年获国际奖项20余人次、国家级奖项600余人次。近五年，学院教师发表高质量教研论文120余篇，出版著作及教材50余部，教师在江西省各类教学竞赛中获奖近30项；近十年，学院教师发表论文1000余篇，出版专著或教材近百部，获批国家自然科学基金课题10余项、国家863计划项目子课题1项、教育部人文社科基金3项、省部级科研课题200余项，横向课题近百项，到账经费2300多万元，授权国家专利30余项。

In recent years, they have won more than 20 international awards and more than 600 national awards. In the past five years, teachers of the college have published more than 120 high-quality teaching and research papers, published more than 50 works and teaching materials, and won nearly 30 awards in various teaching competitions in Jiangxi Province; In the past ten years, teachers of the college have published more than 1,000 papers, published nearly 100 monographs or teaching materials, obtained more than 10 national natural science foundation projects, 1 sub-project of the national 863 plan, 3 humanities and social science funds of the Ministry of Education, more than 200 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, nearly 100 horizontal projects, with more than 23 million yuan in funding, and more than 30 national patents authorized.
