甘肃民族师范学院位于甘、青、川三省交界处的甘南藏族自治州合作市，是甘肃省属高校唯一一所民族师范院校。学校始建于1984年，前身为合作民族师范专科学校，2009年升格为本科院校并更现名，2013年成为国家民委与甘肃省人民政府共建单位。学校以铸牢中华民族共同体意识为主线，致力于培养“政治坚定、学业扎实、素质全面、扎根基层、开拓创新”的社会主义建设者和接班人，先后荣获“省级文明校园”“民族团结进步模范集体”等荣誉称号。

Gansu Normal University for Nationalities is located in Hezuo City, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, at the junction of Gansu, Qinghai and Sichuan provinces. It is the only provincial normal university for ethnic minorities in Gansu Province. Founded in 1984 as Hezuo Teachers College for Nationalities, it was upgraded to an undergraduate institution and renamed in 2009, and became a joint construction unit of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and Gansu Provincial People's Government in 2013. With forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation as the main line, the university is committed to cultivating socialist builders and successors who are "politically firm, academically solid, all-round in quality, rooted in the grassroots, and innovative". It has successively won honorary titles such as "Provincial Civilized Campus" and "Model Collective for National Unity and Progress".

学校占地近千亩，校舍建筑面积31.28万平方米，馆藏图书247.42万册，设有16个教学院系（部），58个本科专业及方向，涵盖教育学、理学、文学等10个学科门类。现有教职工701人，各类普通在校学生12000人，来自26个民族，少数民族学生占比68%。建校四十年来，累计培养各级各类人才近5万名，多数毕业生扎根甘肃民族地区基础教育领域，成为基层教学骨干和管理行家，为区域教育发展和民族团结进步作出重要贡献。

The university covers an area of nearly 1,000 mu, with a building area of 312,800 square meters and a collection of 2.4742 million books. It has 16 teaching departments, 58 undergraduate majors and directions, covering 10 disciplines including education, science, and literature. There are 701 faculty members and 12,000 regular students from 26 ethnic groups, with ethnic minority students accounting for 68%. Over the past 40 years since its establishment, it has trained nearly 50,000 talents at all levels, most of whom have rooted in the basic education field in Gansu's ethnic areas, becoming grassroots teaching backbones and management experts, making important contributions to regional educational development and national unity and progress.
