南宁师范大学坐落于广西壮族自治区首府南宁市，是自治区人民政府举办的本科师范院校，其前身为1953年创办的广西中等学校教师进修学院，历经多次更名与发展，于2018年正式更名为南宁师范大学。学校现有五合、武鸣、明秀、长岗、建政五个校区，占地面积近3400亩，学科涵盖哲学、经济学、法学、教育学等10个门类，设有69个普通本科专业、21个专科专业，拥有17个一级学科硕士学位点和13个专业学位硕士授权点。

Nanning Normal University is located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is an undergraduate normal university run by the regional people's government. Its predecessor was the Guangxi Secondary School Teachers' Training College founded in 1953. After several renamings and developments, it was officially renamed Nanning Normal University in 2018. The university currently has five campuses: Wuhe, Wuming, Mingxiu, Changgang, and Jianzheng, covering an area of nearly 3,400 mu. Its disciplines cover 10 categories including philosophy, economics, law, and education, with 69 regular undergraduate majors, 21 junior college majors, 17 first-level discipline master's degree programs, and 13 professional master's degree authorization programs.

学校师资力量雄厚，现有专任教师1500余人，其中具有硕士学位以上教师1300余人，高级专业技术职务教师680余人，拥有国家级、省部级人才称号获得者110余人次。作为国家中西部高校基础能力建设工程（二期）项目学校、全国第二批深化创新创业教育改革示范高校，学校始终坚持“德才并育、知行合一”的校训，培养了大批适应区域经济社会发展需要的高素质人才，在教学、科研、社会服务等方面取得了显著成就。

The university has a strong faculty, with more than 1,500 full-time teachers, including over 1,300 teachers with master's degrees or above, more than 680 teachers with senior professional and technical positions, and more than 110 national and provincial-level talent title winners. As a project university of the National Midwest University Basic Capacity Building Project (Phase II) and the second batch of national demonstration universities for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, the university always adheres to the school motto of "Cultivating both virtue and talent, integrating knowledge and practice", and has cultivated a large number of high-quality talents to meet the needs of regional economic and social development, achieving remarkable achievements in teaching, scientific research, and social services.
