广西大学是广西壮族自治区人民政府与教育部共建高校，国家“双一流”建设高校，入选“211工程”“部省合建”高校名单。学校坐落于南宁市，创办于1928年，首任校长为著名教育家马君武博士。

Guangxi University is a university jointly built by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the Ministry of Education. It is a national "Double First-Class" construction university and has been selected into the "211 Project" and "Ministry-Province Co-constructed" university lists. Located in Nanning, the university was founded in 1928, with the famous educator Dr. Ma Junwu as its first president.

学校学科门类齐全，涵盖哲、经、法、文、理、工、农、医、管、教、艺等11大门类，拥有1个国家“双一流”建设学科，2个国家重点学科，1个国家重点（培育）学科。

The university has a complete range of disciplines, covering 11 categories including philosophy, economics, law, literature, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management, education, and art. It has 1 national "Double First-Class" construction discipline, 2 national key disciplines, and 1 national key (cultivation) discipline.

学校坚持立德树人根本任务，致力于培养德智体美劳全面发展的社会主义建设者和接班人。现有全日制本科生、研究生、留学生等各类在校生3万余人，教职工3000余人，其中专任教师2000余人，具有高级职称教师占比超过50%。

Currently, there are more than 30,000 full-time undergraduates, postgraduates, international students and other types of students, and more than 3,000 faculty members, including more than 2,000 full-time teachers, with senior professional titles accounting for more than 50%.
