广西财经学院是广西壮族自治区人民政府重点建设的财经类普通本科高校，前身可追溯至1960年创办的广西商业专科学校和1963年成立的广西财经学校。2004年，广西财政高等专科学校与广西商业高等专科学校合并组建为广西财经学院。学校现有相思湖、明秀、武鸣三个校区，占地面积128.16万平方米，设有15个教学院，开设59个本科专业，拥有会计、金融、税务、审计4个硕士专业学位授权点。

Guangxi University of Finance and Economics is a key construction university of finance and economics under the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Its predecessor can be traced back to Guangxi Commercial College founded in 1960 and Guangxi Finance and Economics School established in 1963. In 2004, Guangxi College of Finance and Guangxi College of Commerce merged to form Guangxi University of Finance and Economics. The university currently has three campuses: Xiangsihu, Mingxiu, and Wuming, covering an area of 1.2816 million square meters. It has 15 teaching colleges, offering 59 undergraduate majors and 4 professional master's degree authorization points in accounting, finance, taxation, and auditing.

学校以"诚以修身、信以立业"为校训，立足广西、辐射东盟，面向基层、服务社会。2021年成为硕士学位授予单位，应用经济学和统计学获批广西一流学科建设项目。现有国家级一流本科专业建设点6个、自治区级14个，国家级一流本科课程7门，获国家级科研项目88项、省部级292项，致力于建设特色鲜明的高水平财经大学。

With the school motto of "Cultivate oneself with sincerity, establish career with credibility", the university is rooted in Guangxi, radiates to ASEAN, faces the grassroots and serves the society. In 2021, it became a master's degree-granting unit, and Applied Economics and Statistics were approved as Guangxi first-class discipline construction projects. It has 6 national-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 14 autonomous region-level ones, 7 national-level first-class undergraduate courses, and has obtained 88 national-level scientific research projects and 292 provincial-level ones, committed to building a distinctive high-level university of finance and economics.
