贵阳康养职业大学是贵州省建校最早的卫生健康类职业学校，也是贵州省第一所全日制公办职业本科大学与全国唯一康养特色卫生健康类职业本科大学。学校成立于1939年，2021年经教育部批准转设为贵阳康养职业大学，主校区位于贵阳市观山湖区，校园占地1248亩，现有全日制在校生13000余人。作为全国首个以医康养为特色的医药卫生类职业本科大学，学校填补了我国康养本科职业教育空白，构建了“职普融通新模式、层次贯通新体系、科技互通新机制”的“三通三新”育人机制，设立19个四年制职本专业和13个专升本专业，是全省首个职业本科学位授予单位。

Guiyang Kangyang Vocational University is the earliest-established health vocational school in Guizhou Province, and also the first full-time public vocational undergraduate university in Guizhou and the only vocational undergraduate university with health care characteristics in China. Founded in 1939, the university was restructured and renamed Guiyang Kangyang Vocational University with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2021. Its main campus is located in Guanshanhu District, Guiyang City, covering an area of 1248 mu, with more than 13,000 full-time students. As the first medical and health vocational undergraduate university featuring "medical care and health preservation" in China, it has filled the gap in undergraduate vocational education for health preservation in China, established a "three connections and three innovations" education mechanism of "new mode of integration of vocational and general education, new system of hierarchical connection, and new mechanism of scientific and technological interconnection", offering 19 four-year vocational undergraduate majors and 13 junior college to undergraduate majors, and is the first vocational undergraduate degree-granting unit in the province.

学校师资力量雄厚，有专任教师742人，其中硕博452人，副高级以上职称343人，“双师型”教师447人。教学资源丰富，建有护理等国家级骨干专业5个，职业本科教育首批省级金课、精品开放课程100余门，拥有国家级药学示范性生产性基地、教育部“十四五”强国工程重点项目贵州省卫生健康产教融合实训基地等17个高端产学研平台，实训设备总价值超2685万元。学校积极推进国际化办学，连续举办中国—东盟国际化康养职业教育发展论坛，已累计培养国际化康养人才1000余人，与东盟10余所高校建立稳定合作关系。近三年，学生共获得省级及以上技能竞赛奖项175项，毕业生就业率连续五年超过95%，专业对口率、满意率均达92%以上。

The university boasts a strong faculty, with 742 full-time teachers, including 452 with master's or doctoral degrees, 343 with associate senior titles or above, and 447 "double-qualified" teachers. It is rich in teaching resources, with 5 national key majors such as nursing, more than 100 first-batch provincial gold courses and excellent open courses for vocational undergraduate education, and 17 high-end industry-university-research platforms including the national示范性 pharmaceutical production base and the Guizhou Provincial Health Industry-Education Integration Training Base, a key project of the "14th Five-Year Plan" Strong Country Project of the Ministry of Education, with total value of training equipment exceeding 26.85 million yuan. The university actively promotes international education, has successively held the China-ASEAN International Forum on the Development of Health Vocational Education, has cultivated more than 1,000 international health talents, and established stable cooperative relations with more than 10 universities in ASEAN. In the past three years, students have won 175 provincial and above skill competition awards, the employment rate of graduates has exceeded 95% for five consecutive years, and the professional counterpart rate and satisfaction rate have reached more than 92%.
