贵阳信息科技学院（Guiyang Institute of Information Science and Technology）坐落于贵州省贵安新区花溪大学城思雅路8号，毗邻被誉为“高原明珠”的贵州风景名胜地花溪区和东盟国际交流周永久会址，是经中华人民共和国教育部批准独立设置的本科层次民办普通高等学校。学校前身是2001年贵州工业大学创建的贵州工业大学国际合作学院；2004年更名为贵州工业大学明德学院；2004年9月随贵州大学与贵州工业大学合并，更名为贵州大学明德学院；2021年5月经教育部批准转设为独立设置的民办本科高校，开启了“国有民办”新模式和高质量发展新篇章。

Guiyang Institute of Information Science and Technology is located at No. 8 Siya Road, Huaxi University Town, Gui'an New District, Guizhou Province. Adjacent to Huaxi District, a renowned scenic area known as the "Plateau Pearl," and the permanent site of the China-ASEAN International Exchange Week, it is a private undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education. Founded in 2001 as the International Cooperation College of Guizhou University of Technology, it was renamed Guizhou University Mingde College in 2004 following the merger of Guizhou University and Guizhou University of Technology. In May 2021, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to become an independent private undergraduate college, initiating a new "state-owned private" model and a new chapter of high-quality development.

学校秉承“明理厚德，崇实担当”的校训精神，以社会需求为导向，实施“大数据、大文旅、大健康及先进制造”的“三大一先”人才培养战略。现设6个系、1个教学部，开设40个本科专业，涵盖工学、教育学、文学、理学、管理学、艺术学六大学科门类，其中工学类专业18个。现有在校生15900余人，专任教师1195人，硕士及以上学历占比69.71%，副高级以上职称占比48.37%，教学科研仪器设备总值近1亿元，图书馆纸质图书90.7万册。

Adhering to the motto of "Integrity, Virtue, Pragmatism, and Responsibility," the university focuses on social needs and implements the "Three Major and One Advanced" talent cultivation strategy (Big Data, Big Culture-Tourism, Big Health, and Advanced Manufacturing). It comprises 6 departments and 1 teaching division, offering 40 undergraduate programs covering engineering, education, literature, science, management, and art, including 18 engineering programs. The university has over 15,900 students and 1,195 full-time faculty members, with 69.71% holding master's degrees or above and 48.37% having associate senior titles or higher. The total value of teaching and research equipment exceeds 100 million yuan, and the library houses 907,000 paper books.

学校始终坚持立德树人根本任务，深化产教融合、校企合作，近三年毕业生年终就业率均超过95%，部分工科专业就业率连续多年超过98%，在全省本科院校中名列前茅。2023年荣获“贵州省最受中学认可本科高校”称号，正朝着成为产教融合示范高校和一流民办大学的目标稳步迈进。

The university adheres to the fundamental task of cultivating virtue through education and deepens industry-education integration and university-enterprise cooperation. Over the past three years, the annual employment rate of graduates has exceeded 95%, with some engineering majors achieving over 98% for consecutive years, ranking among the top undergraduate institutions in Guizhou Province. In 2023, it was awarded the title of "Guizhou's Most Recognized Undergraduate University by Middle Schools" and is steadily moving towards becoming a model university for industry-education integration and a first-class private university.
