广州应用科技学院是经教育部批准设立的全日制普通本科高校，前身为2000年创办的广州大学松田学院，2020年12月转设并更名。学校地处粤港澳大湾区，拥有广州和肇庆两个校区，占地面积1119.83亩，面向全国招生，现有在校生近33000人。校园建设秉持“山水校园，文礼学府”理念，教学设施先进，生活配套完善，图书馆总建筑面积4.7万平方米，体育馆功能齐全，是国内高校中设施先进的体育文化活动中心之一。

Guangzhou University of Applied Science and Technology is a full-time ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was Guangzhou University Sontan College founded in 2000, and it was renamed after being transformed in December 2020. Located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the university has two campuses in Guangzhou and Zhaoqing, covering an area of 1119.83 mu. It enrolls students nationwide and currently has nearly 33,000 students. The campus construction adheres to the concept of "Landscape Campus, Cultural and Ritual学府", with advanced teaching facilities and complete living supporting facilities. The library has a total construction area of 47,000 square meters, and the gymnasium has complete functions, which is one of the advanced sports and cultural activity centers among domestic universities.

学校以“博学笃行，经世致用”为校训，秉持“以学生为中心”的育人理念，构建了经济学、法学、教育学、文学、工学、管理学、艺术学等七大学科门类，开设50个本科专业。其中，民商法学和体育学为省级重点培育学科，社会体育指导与管理、法学、金融学获批省一流本科专业。学校实施“三步走”战略，致力于建设特色鲜明的高水平应用型大学，为粤港澳大湾区经济社会发展培养高素质应用型人才。

With the school motto of "Erudition and笃行, Applying Knowledge to Practice", the university adheres to the educational philosophy of "student-centered", and has constructed seven disciplines including economics, law, education, literature, engineering, management, and art, offering 50 undergraduate majors. Among them, Civil and Commercial Law and Physical Education are provincial key cultivation disciplines, and Social Sports Guidance and Management, Law, and Finance have been approved as provincial first-class undergraduate majors. The university implements the "three-step" strategy, committed to building a distinctive high-level application-oriented university, and cultivating high-quality application-oriented talents for the economic and social development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
