贵州电力职业技术学院是一所位于贵州省的全日制公办高等专科院校，前身为1976年创建的贵州省电力学校，2002年与贵阳电力技工学校合并升格为现名。学院以培养电力类高素质技能型人才为核心宗旨，业务范围涵盖高职专科、中等职业学历教育、成人教育及电力职业培训，同时开展技能鉴定与科研服务。

Guizhou Electric Power Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational college located in Guizhou Province. Its predecessor was Guizhou Electric Power School founded in 1976, and it was upgraded to its current name in 2002 through merger with Guiyang Electric Power Technical School. The college focuses on cultivating high-quality skilled talents in the electric power field, with business scope covering higher vocational education, secondary vocational education, adult education, electric power vocational training, as well as skill appraisal and scientific research services.

学院主校区坐落于清镇市红枫湖畔，总占地22万平方米，建筑面积10万平方米，拥有220kV教学实训变电站、变电仿真装置等先进实训设施，教学仪器设备总值达3600万元。现有教职工202人，其中副高职称81人，"双师型"专业课教师占比高，图书馆馆藏图书34万余册。

The main campus is located by the Hongfeng Lake in Qingzhen City, covering a total area of 220,000 square meters with a building area of 100,000 square meters. It boasts advanced training facilities such as 220kV teaching and training substation and substation simulation device, with total value of teaching instruments and equipment reaching 36 million yuan. The college has 202 faculty members, including 81 with associate senior titles and a high proportion of "double-qualified" professional teachers, and the library has a collection of over 340,000 books.

作为南方电网旗下特色高职院校，学院形成了"植根行业、工学结合"的办学模式，开设电力系统自动化技术、供用电技术等特色专业，近三年就业率保持95%以上，先后荣获"全国职业教育先进单位""省级文明单位"等称号，是集学历教育、技能培训与鉴定于一体的现代电力教育培训基地。

As a characteristic higher vocational college under China Southern Power Grid, the college has formed a school-running model of "rooted in the industry and integrating work with study". It offers特色 majors such as Power System Automation Technology and Power Supply and Consumption Technology, with employment rate remaining above 95% in recent three years. It has successively won titles such as "National Advanced Unit in Vocational Education" and "Provincial Civilized Unit", serving as a modern electric power education and training base integrating academic education, skill training and appraisal.
