贵州电子信息职业技术学院是经国家教育部批准独立设置的公办全日制普通高等职业技术学院，始建于1973年，前身为贵州无线电技工学校，2000年与贵州省电子工业职工大学合并组建为高职院校。学院以工科为主，集文、理、经、管等学科为一体，是省级高水平高职院校，在贵州省贵阳市和凯里市两地办学，全日制在校生1.2万余人，教职工600余人。

Guizhou Vocational and Technical College of Electronics & Information is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1973 as Guizhou Radio Technical School, it was merged with Guizhou Electronic Industry Staff University in 2000 to form a higher vocational college. Focusing on engineering and integrating arts, science, economics, and management, it is a provincial high-level vocational college with campuses in Guiyang and Kaili, Guizhou Province, having over 12,000 full-time students and more than 600 faculty members.

学院被教育部等六部委列为数控加工技术、计算机应用与软件技术领域紧缺人才培养基地，建有全国电子信息产业高新技能人才培训基地、贵州大数据人才培养培训基地等多个国家级和省级平台，先后获得“全国职业教育先进单位”“全国职业院校实习管理50强”“全国职业院校学生管理50强”等荣誉称号。

The college has been listed by six ministries including the Ministry of Education as a training base for scarce talents in CNC machining technology and computer application & software technology. It has established multiple national and provincial platforms such as the National Electronic Information Industry High-tech Skills Talent Training Base and Guizhou Big Data Talent Training Base, and has successively won honors like "National Advanced Unit in Vocational Education", "Top 50 National Vocational Colleges in Internship Management", and "Top 50 National Vocational Colleges in Student Management".
