贵州电子科技职业学院于2016年3月经贵州省人民政府批准成立,是教育部备案的全日制公办普通高等职业院校,为贵州省“双高计划”立项建设单位,设有华为董事会授权的华为大数据学院。其办学历史可追溯至1979年的贵州省电子工业学校,现有占地面积1009亩,建筑面积约41万平方米,投资规模超20亿元,生均教学科研仪器设备值超12000元。
Guizhou Vocational College of Electronic Science and Technology was approved by the People's Government of Guizhou Province in March 2016. It is a full-time public higher vocational college registered with the Ministry of Education, an accredited institution under Guizhou's "Double High-Level Plan", and home to the Huawei Big Data College authorized by the Huawei Board of Directors. Its educational history dates back to the Guizhou Electronic Industry School founded in 1979, covering an area of 1009 mu with a construction area of approximately 410,000 square meters, an investment scale exceeding 2 billion yuan, and an average teaching and research equipment value per student exceeding 12,000 yuan.

Located in the Electronic Information Industrial Park of Gui'an New Area (a national-level new area), the college lies at the core of the national big data industry cluster, adjacent to cutting-edge industrial hubs such as Tencent Data Center, Huawei Global Data Center, Apple China (Gui'an) Data Center, and data centers of the three major telecom operators. This geographical advantage facilitates in-depth industry-education integration and seamless alignment between the teaching chain and industrial chain. The college has nearly 600 faculty members, including 69 senior-title teachers and 386 "dual-qualification" teachers, with over 12,000 students and graduate employment rates consistently ranking among the top in Guizhou's colleges and universities.
学校以大数据技术为引领,构建了智能物联网、电气自动化、智能网联汽车、电子商务等五大专业群,开设25个专业,其中大数据技术、电气自动化技术专业群获批贵州省高水平专业群立项建设。近年来,学院先后获批国家发改委“贵州省大数据产教融合实训基地”、人社部“国家高技能人才培训基地”等多项国家级、省级平台资质,2022-2023年连续获评贵州省高职院校高质量发展考核一等次。
With big data technology as its leading discipline, the college has established five major professional clusters including intelligent internet of things, electrical automation, intelligent connected vehicles, and e-commerce, offering 25 majors. Among these, the Big Data Technology and Electrical Automation Technology clusters have been accredited as Guizhou Provincial High-Level Professional Clusters. In recent years, the college has successively obtained multiple national and provincial platform qualifications, such as the "Guizhou Big Data Industry-Education Integration Training Base" approved by the National Development and Reform Commission and the "National High-Skilled Talent Training Base" by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. It has also been rated as Grade A in Guizhou's Higher Vocational Colleges' High-Quality Development Assessment for 2022 and 2023 consecutively.
