广州工商学院创办于1995年，是教育部批准设立的民办全日制普通本科院校。学校历经多年发展，2014年升格为本科院校，2021年获批广东省硕士学位授予立项建设单位及广东省博士工作站新设站单位，2022年成为国家自然科学基金依托单位，2024年顺利通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估。

Guangzhou College of Technology and Business, founded in 1995, is a private full-time ordinary undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. After years of development, the school was upgraded to an undergraduate college in 2014, approved as a project construction unit for granting master's degrees in Guangdong Province and a new station unit for doctoral workstations in Guangdong Province in 2021, became a supporting unit for the National Natural Science Foundation in 2022, and successfully passed the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching by the Ministry of Education in 2024.

学校总占地面积约1400亩，建筑面积约95万平方米，设有广州花都、佛山三水两个校区，全日制在校生约29000人。花都校区位于国际皮具之都狮岭镇，三水校区坐落于制造业重镇佛山市三水区乐平经济开发区，两校区形成了独特的地理与文化格局。

The school covers a total area of about 1400 mu with a building area of about 950,000 square meters. It has two campuses in Huadu, Guangzhou and Sanshui, Foshan, with about 29,000 full-time students. The Huadu campus is located in Shiling Town, the international leather capital, and the Sanshui campus is situated in the Lecheng Economic Development Zone of Sanshui District, Foshan City, a manufacturing town. The two campuses form a unique geographical and cultural pattern.
