贵州航空职业技术学院是由贵州省人民政府批准组建的全日制普通高等职业院校，也是贵州省第一批技师学院。学校坐落于贵阳国家经济技术开发区，毗邻贵阳市中心、机场、高铁站、地铁站，交通便利，区位优势显著。学校事业编制由中央编办管理，隶属于中国航空工业集团有限公司，教学业务由贵州省教育厅和贵州省人社厅主管。

Guizhou Aviation Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Guizhou Province and one of the first batch of technician colleges in Guizhou Province. Located in Guiyang National Economic and Technological Development Zone, the college is adjacent to Guiyang's city center, airport, high-speed railway station and metro station, enjoying convenient transportation and a prominent geographical location. The college's establishment is managed by the Central Organization编制委员会 and affiliated to Aviation Industry Corporation of China Limited, with its teaching affairs supervised by Guizhou Provincial Department of Education and Guizhou Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security.

学校设有五个特色二级学院和一个继续教育学院，开设了航空装备类、航空智能制造类、航空服务类及工业机器人、无人机、航空材料精密成型3D打印技术、大数据及信息技术、新能源汽车运用与维修等航空特色鲜明、紧跟时代发展的专业24个。目前，学校拥有全日制在校生两万五千余人，是一所中、高职相结合，技术培训和技能鉴定为一体的多层次、多专业、多学制的高等职业院校。

The college has five characteristic secondary colleges and one continuing education college, offering 24 majors with distinct aviation features and keeping up with the times, such as aviation equipment, aviation intelligent manufacturing, aviation services, industrial robot, unmanned aerial vehicle, 3D printing technology for precision forming of aviation materials, big data and information technology, and new energy vehicle application and maintenance. At present, the college has more than 25,000 full-time students, and is a multi-level, multi-major and multi-educational system higher vocational college integrating secondary and higher vocational education, technical training and skill appraisal.
