贵州航天职业技术学院是由成立于1984年的原贵州航天职工大学和1976年的原贵州航天高级技工学校，于2000年5月经贵州省人民政府批准合并组建的省内第一批公办高职高专院校，原隶属于中国航天科工集团公司。2014年7月加挂贵州航天技师学院校牌，2021年1月正式移交遵义市人民政府管理。学校现分为新蒲、延安路、虾子三个校区，占地面积1278亩，建筑面积32万平方米，全日制在校学生15000余人，其中高职学生13000余人。

Guizhou Aerospace Vocational and Technical College was established in May 2000 with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial People's Government, merging the former Guizhou Aerospace Staff University (founded in 1984) and the former Guizhou Aerospace Senior Technical School (founded in 1976). It is among the first batch of public higher vocational colleges in Guizhou Province, originally affiliated to China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation. In July 2014, it was approved to add the brand of Guizhou Aerospace Technician College, and officially transferred to the management of Zunyi Municipal People's Government in January 2021. The college now has three campuses: Xinpu, Yan'an Road and Xiazi, covering an area of 1278 mu with a building area of 320,000 square meters, and has more than 15,000 full-time students, including over 13,000 higher vocational students.

学校以工科为主，开设机械工程、电子工程、汽车工程、计算机科学等11个教学系部，25个专业，其中工科类专业18个。现有教职工512人，副高级以上专业技术人员94人，双师型教师占比60%，省级职教名师3人，省级优秀教学团队2个。学院先后荣获全国成人高等教育先进单位、贵州省高水平高职学校立项建设单位等称号，形成了集全日制高职、中职教育、技师培养、社会培训等为一体的综合性职业教育体系。

With engineering as its main focus, the college has 11 teaching departments including Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, and Computer Science, offering 25 majors with 18 engineering-related programs. It has 512 faculty members, including 94 with senior professional titles, 60% of whom are "double-qualified" teachers. There are 3 provincial vocational education masters, 2 provincial excellent teaching teams. The college has successively won titles such as National Advanced Unit for Adult Higher Education and Guizhou Provincial High-level Vocational College Construction Unit, forming a comprehensive vocational education system integrating full-time higher vocational education, secondary vocational education, technician training, and social training.
