贵州机电职业技术学院是经贵州省人民政府批准成立、获国家教育部备案的公办全日制普通高等职业技术学院，隶属于贵州省工业和信息化厅。学院传承红色三线军工精神，立德树人，以办人民满意的职业教育为宗旨，以社会需求为导向，合理设置专业结构，把学生综合素质提升、操作技能培养放在首位，致力培养职业能力强、综合素质高、人才质量优的复合型技能型人才。

Guizhou Vocational and Technical College of Machinery and Electricity is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational and technical college approved by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, affiliated to the Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology. Inheriting the red "Third Line" military industry spirit, the college fosters virtue through education, aims to run vocational education satisfying the people, and rationally sets up professional structure oriented by social needs. 学院坐落在享有“山水桥城”美誉的都匀市内，总占地面积630余亩，在校生9000余人，专兼职教师539人，设有机械类、电气类、信息类、车辆类、管理类等5个专业群共23个专业。学院建有世界技能大赛中国集训基地2个，国家级高技能人才培训基地2个，国家级技能大师工作室3个，省级技能大师工作室4个。

Located in Duyun City, known as the "City of Mountains, Rivers and Bridges", the college covers a total area of more than 630 mu, with over 9,000 students and 539 full-time and part-time teachers. It has 5 professional groups including machinery, electrical, information, vehicle and management, covering 23 majors. The college has 2 National Training Bases for World Skills Competition, 2 National High-skilled Talents Training Bases, 3 National Skill Master Workshops and 4 Provincial Skill Master Workshops.
