广州科技贸易职业学院创办于1984年，是经广东省人民政府批准、教育部备案的广州市属公办全日制普通高等职业院校，著名科学家、中国工程院院士钟南山担任名誉院长。学校地处粤港澳大湾区核心城市——广州，以番禺校区（毗邻广州大学城）为中心，北进广州开发区、南拓南沙自贸区，形成“一体两翼”发展格局，校园环境优美，地理位置优越。

Founded in 1984, Guangzhou Vocational College of Technology and Business is a public full-time higher vocational college affiliated to Guangzhou, approved by the People's Government of Guangdong Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. The renowned scientist and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Zhong Nanshan, serves as the honorary president. Located in Guangzhou, a core city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the college centers on its Panyu Campus (adjacent to Guangzhou University Town), expanding northward to Guangzhou Development Zone and southward to Nansha Free Trade Zone, forming a "one body, two wings" development pattern with a beautiful campus and superior geographical location.

学校现有全日制在校生12000余人，开设12个二级学院、8大专业群共33个专业，其中国家级重点专业6个、省级重点专业16个、省级高水平专业群3个。作为国家教育部现代学徒制单位、全国国防教育特色学校，学校深化产教融合，建有300余个校内外实践基地及21个省级以上基地，2022年入选省域高水平高等职业院校建设计划，为粤港澳大湾区培养了大批高素质技术技能人才。

The college has over 12,000 full-time students and offers 33 programs across 8 major discipline groups in 12 secondary colleges, including 6 national key programs, 16 provincial key programs, and 3 provincial high-level program groups. As a modern apprenticeship unit of the Ministry of Education and a national defense education model school, it deepens industry-education integration with over 300 on-campus and off-campus practice bases, including 21 at or above the provincial level. Selected into the Provincial High-Level Vocational College Construction Plan in 2022, it has cultivated numerous high-quality technical and skilled talents for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
