贵州黔南经济学院前身为贵州财经大学商务学院，2001年经贵州省教育厅批准成立，2004年获教育部确认，2021年转设为独立设置的民办本科高校并更现名。学校坐落于贵州省黔南州惠水县，占地1400余亩，建筑面积32万平方米，馆藏纸质图书147万册、电子图书150万册，仪器设备总值7500余万元。

Guizhou Qiannan College of Economics, formerly known as the Business College of Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, was founded in 2001 with approval from Guizhou Provincial Department of Education, confirmed by the Ministry of Education in 2004, and renamed to its current name in 2021 when it was transformed into an independent private undergraduate institution. Located in Huishui County, Qiannan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, the university covers an area of over 1,400 mu (93 hectares) with a building area of 320,000 square meters. It houses 1.47 million paper books, 1.5 million e-books, and teaching equipment worth over 75 million yuan.

学校以经济学、管理学为主体，设有金融、会计、管理、信息、文法、马克思主义等6个学院，开设会计学、金融学等30个本科专业，涵盖经、管、工、文、法5个学科门类，全日制在校生1.7万余人。建校以来已培养5万余名毕业生，为区域经济社会发展提供人才支撑。

It offers 30 undergraduate programs such as Accounting and Finance, covering 5 disciplines: economics, management, engineering, liberal arts, and law. The university has over 17,000 full-time students and has graduated more than 50,000 alumni, contributing talent support to regional economic and social development.
