贵州中医药大学时珍学院是2001年经国家教育部和贵州省人民政府批准设立的独立学院，2005年在教育部专项检查中成为贵州省唯一获得良好评价的学校。学院坐落于贵阳修文，此地为明代大儒王阳明心学体系发源地。20余年来，学院已为社会培养18000余名专门人才，秉持“博学多闻 精勤济世”校训，致力于建设高水平应用型大学。

Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Shizhen College is an independent college approved by the Ministry of Education and Guizhou Provincial People's Government in 2001. In 2005, it was the only school in Guizhou Province to receive a good evaluation in the special inspection by the Ministry of Education. The college is located in Xiuwen, Guiyang, the birthplace of the philosophy system of Wang Yangming, a great Confucian scholar in the Ming Dynasty. Over the past 20 years, the college has cultivated more than 18,000 professionals for society, adhering to the school motto of "Erudite and Knowledgeable, Diligent in Serving the World", and committed to building a high-level application-oriented university.

学院校园规划占地1700亩（含200亩附属医院），现有全日制本科在校生近15000人，设6个二级教学单位、24个本科专业，涵盖医、理、工、管等八大学科门类。师资队伍达1000余人，副高及以上职称教师占比37%，研究生学历教师占比61%，教学科研仪器设备总值近亿元，图书馆藏书128万册。

The college's campus covers an area of 1,700 mu (including 200 mu for affiliated hospitals), with nearly 15,000 full-time undergraduate students. It has 6 secondary teaching units and 24 undergraduate majors, covering eight disciplines including medicine, science, engineering, and management. The teaching staff exceeds 1,000, with 37% of teachers holding associate senior titles or above and 61% with postgraduate degrees. The total value of teaching and research equipment is nearly 100 million yuan, and the library has a collection of 1.28 million books.

学院坚持以中医药为主体，优先发展大健康、大数据及管理类骨干学科，构建“人才-学科-科研-产业”四位一体培养体系。拥有50余个教学实验室、200余个实习基地，注重学生实践能力与创新精神培养，近5年毕业生初次就业率保持在80%以上，为区域医疗卫生和健康产业发展提供坚实人才支撑。

The college focuses on traditional Chinese medicine, prioritizing the development of key disciplines in big health, big data, and management, and has built a "talent-discipline-research-industry" integrated training system. It boasts over 50 teaching laboratories and more than 200 internship bases, emphasizing the cultivation of students' practical abilities and innovative spirit. The initial employment rate of graduates has remained above 80% in the past five years, providing solid talent support for regional medical and health industry development.
