贵州装备制造职业学院是经贵州省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案，直属贵州省教育厅的公办全日制普通高等院校，创建于1981年，前身为贵州省机械工业学校，2017年定名为现名。学校是贵州省高水平高职学校和高水平专业群建设单位，以培养装备制造类技术技能人才为核心，形成全日制高等职业教育为主、中等职业教育与非学历教育为辅的办学格局。

Guizhou Vocational College of Equipment Manufacturing is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education, directly under the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education. Founded in 1981, it evolved from the Guizhou Machinery Industry School and was renamed to its current name in 2017. As a key construction unit for high-level vocational schools and professional groups in Guizhou, the college focuses on cultivating technical and skilled talents in equipment manufacturing, offering full-time higher vocational education as its mainstay, supplemented by secondary vocational education and non-academic education.

学校位于贵阳市清镇职教城，毗邻百花湖畔与国家4A级景区“时光贵州”，占地面积500余亩，建筑面积21.5万平方米。设有机械工程系、电气工程系等5个系部，开设智能制造、智能装备、智能汽车三大专业群共25个专业，拥有数控、汽车两个国家级实训基地，其“1+3+N”产教融合模式被国家发改委、教育部列为典型案例。

Located in Qingzhen Vocational Education City of Guiyang, adjacent to the scenic Baihua Lake and the national 4A-level scenic spot "Time Guizhou", the college covers an area of over 500 mu (about 33.3 hectares) with a building area of 215,000 square meters. It comprises 5 departments including Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, offering 25 majors under three key professional groups: Intelligent Manufacturing, Intelligent Equipment, and Intelligent Automotive. The college houses two national-level training bases for numerical control and automotive technologies, and its "1+3+N" industry-education integration model has been listed as a typical case by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Education.

学校师资力量雄厚，拥有国家级教学名师、全国技术能手等领衔的“双师型”教师队伍，曾获贵州省科技进步一等奖。2024年在世界职业院校技能大赛等赛事中斩获3金5铜，教师团队承担省科技厅项目数量居全省高职院校首位。作为贵州装备制造职教集团理事长单位，与比亚迪、吉利等企业共建产业学院，致力于培养服务地方先进制造业的“忠诚工匠”。

The college boasts a strong teaching team featuring national-level teaching masters and national technical experts, with a focus on "dual-qualification" teachers. It has won the first prize of Guizhou Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. In 2024, the college achieved 3 gold and 5 bronze medals in competitions such as the World Vocational College Skills Competition, while its faculty leads全省高职院校 in undertaking projects from the provincial Department of Science and Technology. As the chairman unit of Guizhou Equipment Manufacturing Vocational Education Group, it has established industry colleges with enterprises like BYD and Geely, dedicated to cultivating "loyal craftsmen" serving local advanced manufacturing industries.
