海南体育职业技术学院是整合海南省高级体育运动技术学校及相关体育资源而设立的专科层次、全日制公办普通高等体育职业院校，于2016年初获得海南省人民政府批准成立，是一所集体育职业教育、省级运动训练、体育科研三位一体的全日制高等体育职业院校。学院位于海南省海口市，用地总规模为148.2亩，包括院本部、五指山综合训练基地和省健身中心，配备田径运动场、综合训练馆、室外游泳馆等完善的教学训练设施。学院开设运动训练、社会体育、休闲体育、高尔夫球运动与管理、体育保健与康复、电子竞技运动与管理等专业，致力于培养优秀竞技体育人才和体育行业高素质技术技能型人才，先后被授予“全国体育系统先进集体”“国家重点高水平体育后备人才基地”等称号。

Hainan Vocational College of Physical Education is a public full-time higher vocational college established by integrating Hainan Provincial Advanced Sports Technology School and related sports resources. Approved by the People's Government of Hainan Province in early 2016, it is a full-time higher sports vocational institution integrating sports vocational education, provincial-level sports training, and sports scientific research. Located in Haikou City, Hainan Province, the college covers a total area of 148.2 mu, including the main campus, Wuzhishan Comprehensive Training Base, and Provincial Fitness Center, equipped with complete teaching and training facilities such as track and field stadiums, comprehensive training halls, and outdoor swimming pools. The college offers majors such as Sports Training, Social Sports, Leisure Sports, Golf Sports and Management, Sports Health Care and Rehabilitation, and E-sports Sports and Management, dedicated to cultivating outstanding competitive sports talents and high-quality technical and skilled talents in the sports industry. It has been awarded titles such as "National Advanced Collective in Sports System" and "National Key High-level Sports Reserve Talent Base".

学院内设7个党政管理机构、1个体育科研机构及6个教学教辅机构，拥有一支专业结构合理的师资队伍，其中副高职称以上教练员22人。建校以来培养国际健将8名，运动健将124名，一级运动员275名，在奥运会、亚运会、全运会等重大赛事中屡创佳绩，特别是在2020年东京奥运会上实现海南建省办经济特区以来奥运奖牌零的突破。学院立足海南自贸港建设，聚焦体育领域需求，积极开展社会体育指导员培训等社会服务，形成了“教、训、研”协同发展的办学特色。

The college has 7 party and government management institutions, 1 sports scientific research institution, and 6 teaching and auxiliary institutions, with a faculty team with a reasonable professional structure, including 22 coaches with associate senior titles or above. Since its establishment, it has trained 8 international masters of sports, 124 masters of sports, and 275 first-class athletes, achieving remarkable results in major events such as the Olympic Games, Asian Games, and National Games. Especially in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, it achieved a breakthrough in Olympic medals for Hainan since the establishment of the special economic zone. Based on the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, the college focuses on the needs of the sports field, actively carries out social services such as social sports instructor training, and has formed a school-running characteristic of coordinated development of "teaching, training, and research".
